Re: Utd v St.Mirren - Tuesday 18th January

HUGE game in many respects.
Wouldn't like to be the one picking the starting XI.
Just a reminder of our starting XI v Hibs on the most miserable Boxing Day in my life, freezing cold, 500 crowd, shite atmosphere, shite display apart from Glass's worldie.
SIEGRIST
FREEMAN NEILSON MULGREW McMANN
MOCHRIE MEEKISON HARKES SPORLE
WATSON CLARK
Used subs - NISKANEN (came on for Freeman at half time), Glass (for Mochrie 62mins), CHALMERS (for Watson 71 mins)
Unused subs - HOTI, K.SMITH,NEWMAN, THOMSON
over to you for guesses....

That's what I'd be playing as well. What was Liam Smith's injury? I know he's training but his recovery has taken an age.

Re: Utd v St.Mirren - Tuesday 18th January

2 teams above us play Old Firm this week, so a win would be very very welcome.

Anybody know what the latest info is regarding the injured players?
Is Butcher still suspended?

Re: Utd v St.Mirren - Tuesday 18th January

Hopefully the team will have some energy about them and get into it from the start. That starts from the back of the side, none of it taking an eternity to take goal kicks and knocking it about the back scared of misplacing a pass.

we need to be brave and not scared of mistakes.

Benji
Freeman,McMann, Edwards and Mulgrew,
Pawlett, Fuchs, Watson, Niskanen
Glass
Watt

Lol, sorry I meant Meekison.

I'm presuming that Levitt won't be fit all the same as he never is.

Re: Utd v St.Mirren - Tuesday 18th January

Does anyone know if you can’t attend the game due to COVID if the club let you watch online like last season?

Yeah, if you have a season ticket you can watch for free if you can’t make it for whatever reason

Think if we don't see anything of Biamou tonight that will be quite telling.

Wouldn’t surprise me Watt on the bench tonight, he’s only trained once with the team.
