Hopefully we have a full squad to pick from on Saturday for the first time this season.

If we do have the full squad, this is the team I'd like to see Mellon play. This might not be the team I'd necessarily pick... but trying to think like Mellon and what he is likely to go for, I reckon:
Benji,
Connolly
Edwards
Reynolds
Smith
Butcher
Fuchs
Robson
Bolton
Sporle
Shankland
Now I think McNulty has been good recently, but we need to get Shanks back scoring, and the way to do that is get balls in the box. Bolton and Sporle flanking him, pressing hard and getting the ball to him in dangerous positions is the best way for this to happen IMO, then you've also got Smith and Robson overlapping too.
However, I wouldnt be surprised to see Clark and McNulty in place of Sporle and Bolton in that side... but I just don't see how we can win this game with that formation from the start. Having them on the bench to come on and have a go (if needed) might be more suitable to this fixture.

Would love to see him go to a back 4 too mate. But I think he is set on this back 3 and solidifying our defensive structure. If our back 3 consisted of Neilson and maybe Butcher who are a bit more confident on the ball, then we could make it work. But with 3 boys in the back 3 that are just defenders and nothing more...it doesnt really give us a chance to build up attacks from the back.

If he was too stick with the three at back I’d start neilson and butcher at the back 100% instead of Edwards/Connolly and Reynolds
Sick fed up of watching us, get the ball at the back and just hoof it up field to absolutely nobody or out for a throw in for opponent

I would play-
Benji
Smith Connolly Reynolds Robson
Bolton Fuchs Butcher Sporle
Clark
Shankland
Appere clearly isn’t in his plans but some players just have a habit of playing well against clubs he scored a peach against them last season as did Shankland, so I would give zappers some minutes to try and entice that player that we all know out.

Edwards was excellent on Sunday, no idea why you'd want to leave him out.

Not too fussed which two of the three play to be honest as long as it ain’t all three.

Yeah fair enough. All played pretty well and I think he's likely to play all 3 again against hibs anyway.

Attack them:
Benji
Smith Edwards Reynolds Robson
Fuchs Butch Harkes
McNulty Shanks Clark
Bolton, Sporle to come on at some stage.
Half of this is what I'd like to see, half trying to doubleguess what Micky'll do.

Midfield been the problem it needs to change
I’d like to see (we won’t)
Siegriest
Edwards. Connolly. Reynolds
Smith. Neilson. Fuchs. Robson
McMullan
Clark. Shankland
Sporle for Robson, Bolton for Smith, McNulty for either striker if you like, but we need someone who can pass a ball and someone who can create in midfield. Butcher/Powers/Harkes can’t.

Wee Fuchs isn't a creative midfielder either.
But to be fair every team is looking for creative/attacking midfielders, they're like hens' teeth.
Scott Fraser was our last one but he wasn't appreciated here.
Something to do with his hair.

No he isn’t, but Neilson can pass a ball and McMullan (on a good day) can create. Something has to give in that are of the field because the 3 mentioned previously aren’t doing it.

Neilson seems to be included in lots of suggested line-ups in midfield. Yes he played there as a kid but has been a defender now for a good couple of years. I'd imagine we'd only ever see him in there in an emergency.

Our midfield is a fucking emergency. It’s honking.

I can see it being:
Benji
Smith
Connolly
Edwards
Reynolds
Robson
Butcher
Fuchs
Pawlett
McNulty
Shankland
Subs:
Deniz
Neilson
Sporle
Harkes
Powers
Bolton
McMullan
Appere
Clark
Maybe it's because it's getting near the end of term but I think we'll win today. Clark to come on and score the winner. That wee bluenose cunt Boyle to miss a penalty. 2-1. Shanks and Clark. Doige for them.

He'd have to miss the penalty cos Benji aint saving it.

Not much pace in the team to allow us to counter attack. It will be interesting to see how we go about this game. Glad to see Butcher back in beside Fuchs tbh. Feel for Sporle missing out but our bench looks strong.
Offline
Get this fucking changed, honest to fuck
Offline
Reynolds and mcnulty off now
Bolton and sporle on
Absolute fucking garbage again, Mellon setting us up like this or not changing the defence is a sackable offence 👍🏼
