What we all expecting to happen tomorrow then?
I think we will sign just one more. Possibly the boy Liam Miller on loan from Liverpool who is supposedly a left winger/Striker. I think we'll get told an 'ambitious swoop' for a Striker failed late on.
Out the door will go Cammy Smith, Adam King and Chris Mochrie. On loan or permanently.
Have a funny feeling we might receive a good offer for not just Shankland but also Siegrest.

It would certainly be good to sign another 1 or 2. Maybe just as important that the other relegation candidates don't strengthen.

Who is this Liam Miller? I can't find anything about him on Google. All I get is the 39 year old Liam Miller

My fault. I spelt his surname incorrectly. He's 'ar' not 'er'.

I’d be surprised and disappointed if we don’t get 1 in, hoping for 2, but actually have a feeling could be as many as 3 if we manage to ship a few out.
Think it could be a busy day of refreshing Twitter and various internet pages, remember how mad January 2019 was?

I’m fully expecting the DUFC communications team to find the social media passwords again and renew that annoying thing they do where they tweet out loads of useless stuff on deadline day and then loads of folk going mental because they’re tweeting again, but nothing that’s actually about transfers. Of course until they tweet just after the deadline to say it’s been a busy day, but we couldn’t quite get the deals across the line.

That's highly unlikely, and it's a wee bit unfair calling Tek an idiot, he runs the site, ADS.

Can we send Edwards back to Blackpool?

Hope we offload some players, wage bill in the is current climate is unsustainable. However, who will take them on their current wage?

I hope any other signings we make are fit and ready to play immediately btw.

Can see 2 more signing today. A striker and winger.
Also think we will see 2 depart as loan deals.
King will be offered a wad of dough to fuck off in a few weeks as no cunt will want him today.
There's an obsession on this & other forums about 'getting rid' of Adam King. I get the feeling that if our only transfer activity was his exit then many fans would be over the moon. 'Arabs In Heaven As King Departs'. What's he ever done to make himself so grossly unpopular except not get a game? Poor lad.

It's not personal SmedDUm.
But it's best for the lad to find a club where he gets a game. His career is passing him by.
Most see his departure as possibly freeing up cash for another wage also. Which may not be the case.
But that is what the thinking is.

Yep it's entirely my thinking too. He's not even close to the team, although after Friday night it's hard to see why, but certainly better for his career to be getting a game. Same applies to any others who are not in the managers plans.

Hes fucking stinking and should never have been given a contract at tannadice. What Neilson saw in him i do not know.

Hoping we can get a winger and striker In. We won’t but I’d love to see us sign a decent centre back on loan.
unless it’s: Shankland, Benji, Robson or Bolton, I couldn’t care If anyone else left.

On the subject of King leaving and getting a wad of cash to do so, I remember an interview with someone at the club, pretty sure it was Mike Martin just prior to the Ogren take over, where this was discussed.
Seem to recall him saying that paying boys off isn't as good an option anymore because how it used to work was that HMRC had some rule that allowed you to pay off a contract without paying tax on it, or paying significantly less, but that loophole had now been closed so paying boys off isn't as worthwhile anymore.
Suppose the way club's think about it is easier to pay the x amount per week than to pay a big lump sum to a player as the saving isn't there any more. I'll have to see if I can track down this interview, I don't have Arabzone anymore but I'm sure it was on there that he said it.
