I'll tell you where he needs to stick that pebble 😋

Saved myself £15 and just watched the ALBA playback at 6pm.
Wee bit disappointed at full-time as it definitely felt more like 2 points dropped rather than an away point gained, due to how many chances we never took in the match.
Thought Logan Chalmers was probably our best player whilst he was on the pitch. Some really positive runs and nice bits of skill. Just a shame he snatched at his chance to put us 0-2 up, as i think that would have given us enough of a cushion to win the game.
Nicky Clark is getting a bit of stick for the 3 chances he missed but i felt a bit sorry for him. The ball just won't go in for him and he is at least getting in good positions to score. Out of the 3 chances only the 1st one was one that i felt he definitely should have scored. But to be fair to their Keeper Fulton he got off his line quickly, spread himself well and made himself big. The 2nd chance the ball just wouldn't come down quick enough and Ogkmpoe makes a great block. 3rd chance he reads Shankland's cross well and nips ahead of his marker but just gets too much under the ball. It'll come for Clark. Still think he'll be a good squad man for us in the Prem (though i think he'd be a better option from the bench).
On Mellon's 3 subs. First one was annoying and felt a bit negative. Sporle off (was he injured?), why not just bring on a 'like for like' sub in Appere or McMullan? We instead change our formation and lo and behold about 10 minutes later concede the equaliser despite having three 6ft+ Centre Halves and a 6ft+ Goalkeeper in the box at the set-piece. Incidentally i'm looking for my Goalie to come off his line when the ball is swung in that near the goal.
2nd sub Powers for Butcher, fair enough (Butcher was gonna get sent off and was poor all day). 3rd sub Pawlett for Chalmers, fair enough. None of the subs improved us though and that is a problem that we badly need to rectify.
Just 7 goals scored in 9 Premier matches played. It's not hard to see what areas of the pitch we need to improve upon. And very soon.

Watched on alba too, agree Chalmers was probably our best performer again and he is showing why Mellon rates him so highly, getting more confident every game and I’m sure he’ll start adding goals soon. I also thought Reynolds had a good game and kept it simple after last week. Harkes also did well and is showing some nice flashes of skill, unfortunately he never looks like scoring despite finding good positions.
Shankland didn’t see much of the ball but grabbed a goal and did really well to set up Clark twice who really should have buried at least one of them.
Felt frustrated at full time as we really should have secured all 3 points.
Current thoughts are that with the squad we have we will stay up but won’t threaten to make top 6. A new striker and a playmaker or a winger of quality and we may challenge for top 6.
If we shit the bed and sell Shankland then good chance we’ll go down, he’s absolutely vital to our team.

I had that exact thought tonight. Sell him and i fear for us. You seen again today just how vital he is to us with his goal and his all-round link up play, hold up play and chances created for his strike partner.
Keep him and get one or two in however and i see no reason why we couldn't have a good go at claiming that 5th Euro spot.
The next 8 days will tell us a lot about the true ambitions of the Ogren's and the club in general.

An interesting week ahead. Right now, with all that’s going on with no fans in the stadium and financial uncertainty, I’d settle for having the same squad we have now a week on Tuesday. Be great to add a bit of quality though, sign more than one who can come straight into the team and I’ll be delighted.

Thought we should have taken all the points yesterday. poor chances missed again.
Think MM made the wrong subs also. Terrible goal to give away imo.

I probably would have settled for a draw before the game but like most supporters I'm a bit disappointed not getting the 3 points. Plenty of positives from the game and think we are improving which is the main thing. Did think the substitutions we made didn't help and would have liked MM to have made more positive subs as I think the game was there to be won.

it was an excellent free kick from Templeton, fiendisly difficult to defend, especially on the carpet.

Totally agree on the subbies, we lost our shape and gave the ball away far to easily which brought Hamilton on to us. Abundantly clear early in the game they were playing for set pieces and corners to get the ball in the box.
We really need to learn to close games out better, but we can make these improvements

Goal diff -7.
- Just about any table you review at seasons end the order of teams will follow goal diff. (excl Leicester) So totally agree Pat goal diff is worth a point at seasons end.
So, much as we played some brilliant fast breaking stuff going forward and are set up primarily to attack I got the feeling that we should have won 3 v 0 Micky did a bit of a Robbie and Haccies could have stolen it.
Clark for 90, Appere getting splinters for 90. Whit's that aboot ?
