Today all hospo punters got an email from United saying they will be guaranteed into all fixtures with crowd restrictions with the St Mirren game having less than 1000 in attendance as things currently stand. The rest of the numbers will be made up from a ballot of season ticket holders.
Very poor decision from United this. IMO the fairest way should have been all should be balloted and those chosen for the first game cant get to the next and so on to give everyone who wants to attend the chance over the coming home games.

Agreed.
They’ve offered money back if more than 3 games missed though haven’t they?
Hospo refunds cost more than ST refunds - probably a purely financial decision. Most they make are.

Yep. That's the way to go for me bowers. Everybody gets their turn. If it's 1000 per gehm, out of 5000 (for argument sake), then you basically get into every 5th gehm, until this coronashite is soarted oot.

It comes off the price of next seasons ticket after so many games behind closed doors does it not?

Yeah, think that’s what it is actually. Amounts to the same thing though, £20 off a normal ST price of £100+ off a hospo ST.

Anything over 2 games locked out and it’s 1/19th each game they ‘owe us’?
They'll not 'owe' us anything. We shouldn't be looking for 1/3rd of 1/6th of Sweet Fanny Adams.
Secondly, hospitality season tickets cost a lot of money & it's only right that they get first dibs,
After that, yes, a ballot of non-hospo ST fans. And those that are successful in the ballot are not in the next ballot. The posts on here are assuming that will not be the case but it almost certainly will.
It's not anyone's fault the current situation, totally & utterly unprecedented, so cut them a bit of slack, there is no perfect solution and they are doing their level best.

Unprecedented times indeed and absolutely the club have to be given some slack. Perhaps upcoming League Cup ties could be used by giving season tickets free access? Irony is that if fans allowed back into games then really these games will be "pay at gate". Would make sense however to allocate games to seasons.
Only thing I would say with hospitality is could someone who is a non season ticket holder book hospo and guarantee entry to game?

Will season ticket holders who have paid extra for top tier be next in line before lower tier ticket buyers? Adults before OAPS students and concessions?

Making two tiers of season ticket holders doesn't sit well with me to be honest. More so since hospitality will be indoors, and thus surely much more of a risk than ordinary punters?
And the club do very much 'owe us'. We paid for a product, in the knowledge it would be given when possible. I didn't pay for my ST for some arsehole to get precedence over me purely because he's got a few more quid in his pocket.

Having read your posts in the past, it's reasonably clear to me that you probably struggle to spell your own name. With that said, I'll be ignoring your replies from now on because they never add anything constructive to the topics in hand anyway.
Best of luck.

My thoughts exactly. If you are lucky enough to get chosen by the ballot you should miss the next ballot.

That’s why I said ‘owe’ as in technically we could claim 1/19th back next season on a renewal. I personally wouldn’t claim anything back, just wanted clarification. So you can get back down off your high horse..

Nomates, stop being a knob - you'll only end up getting banned and you had recently provided some nearly worthwhile input.
For me I think it is correct for United to have the hospitality as full as permitted as they are likely to make more money out of those punters and that is ultimately what is required at the moment - these are also people who are supporting the club beyond hospitality etc. - sponsors and the like. It's a bit naive to think the ordinary season ticket holder should usurp them. For normal season tickets however I do agree that it needs to be on a rotational system so everyone gets a fair number of chances to see their club. Presumably it will need to allocate seating to meet social distancing although no doubt some worthies will demand to sit in "their" seat.
Edit: oops Nomates punted while typing the above - some folk will never learn.
