Away on the plastic pitch on Saturday and what a shit one at that.
Any word on Liam Smith? I think Shankland will see some action off the bench.
Dependent on any knocks i think we may go unchanged.

semi-related - the killie website looks a bit of a joke. Are Killie showing games for away fans?

I signed up and couldn't find a link to buy as of yet. Hoping it will be up tomorrow or Thursday.

Jamie Robson saying when he took the head knock against Hibs the physio asked him 'do you know where you are?' and he replied 'Motherwell'.😂

Very much so.
Established Utd player now instead of daft wee boy.

What team is everyone wanting to see at Rugby Park?
Tough game tomorrow. Killie have some good players imo (Findlay, Brophy, Burke, Tshibola etc).

How far are you willing to go to be a successful football player???
"Motherwell!" 😂
That's far enough, get a stretcher! 😂

Mark Reynolds and Kieran Freeman both had serious injuries in the past. Will they be ok to play tomorrow on the astroturf?

The way Micky is talking they will. He says he's not bothered about plastic pitches and won't allow them as an excuse, or words to that effect.

Get on wi' it. That's more or less what I would have expected from potentially the best manager we've had since 1993. I wonder if big Edwards doesn't mind the plastic? Mind you he's on the seek too.

Think that’ll be the team this week, Chalmers maybe the only change. Hopefully Shankland can get some game time.

Don't think that will be far away Pat.
As said above i hope we can see Shankland fit enough to possibly contribute at some point.
Be good to see Glass get some game time too.

Plenty possession in midfield but poor in the air at the back. Kilmarnock targeting young Neilson, but defence isn't the only problem: very little pressure put on Kilmarnock up front, Bolton showing up well, Clark isolated.
Think Harkes is doing well.

While there was never such a gap between the sides in terms of the result, it's obvious where our weaknesses were on the afternoon.
If we're being honest, that was coming, and even the excuses of the plastic pitch and claims for penalties which never came don't wash. Killie, with no wins in their first five, were far more street wise and capable at this level. I'm glad there's a couple of weeks until the next fixture, but we were found out at the back and totally lacking up front, yet only two subbies used.

Thankfully, the game made my eyes bleed - and i wasn't able to see all 90 minutes...there are recurring themes though and today we didn't get the luck of previous weeks. The team got great praise v celtic so need to take this on the chin too.
Some of those boys simply aren't good enough imo and should be bench players.
The system is set not to lose/frustrate/limit opposition to long shots but to do it effectively, we have no threat at the opposite end.
The majority of our balls into the box come from butcher or connolly -neither of whom are known for delivering balls into the box. we would be as well playing 6 1 3 formation as the ball isn't getting anywhere near midfield.
When we started to push forward, there was nothing there and we could still be going this time tomorrow and be waiting for a goal

also guessing we will get the same bland comments from the manager.....we will take it on the chin and go back and work on making the players better.....

A lot of possession today but no end product. Killie took there chances. When things are not going our way we don't have anything on the bench to change it.

I'm agreeing with you mostly, but felt we did try to play the ball through midfield quite a bit, just not too successfully because we have few out ball opportunities up front.

It's true we have a lack of options, but I'd have had Edwards on for Connolly, Glass for Chalmers and Cammy Smith for Clark, just to freshen things and gives others an opportunity.
Probably (?) a coincidence, but three of KFC's four goals came within a couple of minutes of them making changes.

Let's be completely brutally honest here. How many of the kids and there all good prospects (prospects being the operative word) are actually ready for Premiership 1st XI football?
None of them.
They all need phased in gradually. 10-15 minutes here and there (preferably when we are winning). That we are going forward week in, week out with such a lack of Premiership experience throughout the squad is becoming more and more frustrating.
I felt we needed six 1st XI signings in the Summer.
I stick by that figure.
