You honestly think Asghar would sanction the re signing of an injury ridden player we couldn't get rid of quick enough?

2+2 =4 as its always done and not 137 😋

I was taking piss! He’s obviously not gonna resign, Surely 🤣

Re: Lawrence Shankland - Scotland

Dykes is nailed in IMO. Think Shankland is probably 3rd choice behind McBurnie. Oli Burke doesn't know if he's a big winger or a fast striker but does neither effectively.

Shankland called up for the Israel play-off.  Be interesting to see if Clarke picks him over McBurnie and/or Dykes.

Wouldnt mind seeing Dykes and Shankland both up top.

Re: Lawrence Shankland - Scotland

Only thing that matters (breaks my heart to say this) is that he gets through the whole farce uninjured.

For the laddie himself hope he enjoys, gets a few goals, does well, increases his value - suits us.

Shudder to think if we lose him for another month over a Scotland training issue.

Re: Lawrence Shankland - Scotland

Didn't realise Shankland would miss our Betfred games.

Bit of a pisser. Whilst we should hopefully fare ok without him it was a good chance for him to really hit a few more goals for us.

Can only hope we sign a fit and ready Striker by close of window this coming Monday.

Depending on his involvement I'd say he should be able to feature by our game on the 10th should he not?

Re: Lawrence Shankland - Scotland

Logan Chalmers called up to Scotland U21 team to face Czech's and San Marino.

So he too will miss the 3 Betfred games against Brechin, Peterhead and Kelty Hearts respectively.

Re: Lawrence Shankland - Scotland

Micky Mellon must take a lot of the credit for Chalmer coming to the fore this season.
Remember, the manager's mantra is all about improvement.
This will be working on players other than Logan & I'm looking forward to seeing who next rises thro the ranks.

Fucking awesome, probably picked up another injury sitting on the Scotland bench. That's our season fucked if he's out for another spell.

Re: Lawrence Shankland - Scotland

His partner is due about now, hopefully that’s why he’s missing.

If he’s injured then that’s a f’kin nightmare
