Because for league 1 that works out at around just under £50k a week. So a squad of 25 on an average of 2k a week?

Certainly narrows the gap in terms of competition. This could be a big opportunity for Scottish football!

 
Yes 2.5 million for each league 1 squad. I believe under 21s are exempt from the calculations of the total squad wage bill. It certainly could help us gain Norwood on loan as Ipswich are one of the Leagues high spenders.

Might also explain what Scott Burns meant by a lot of things need to happen first. One thing though, he's probably on about 8 grand a week so he's still going to have to take a huge cut

See that says that those on above the average will be treated as £1,300 for the rest of their contract.  So Ipswich wouldn't be counting the £8k for Norwood.  But if they aren't going to play him then assume they'd be better getting him off their books.  Means the market has significantly shrunk for players previously making more money on L1 and L2 so we may well see some players looking at our leagues again.

Yes. It also means that we are less likely to have players lured away by Chelmsford Rovers or Rowntree City with the promise of big sacks of the filthy lucre.

Blenheim Wood always big spenders.

From the 1st of July he has scored 6 goals in 8 games for Kups according to transfermarket. All 8 games has started at left wing. They are currently top of the league and play Helsinki tomorrow who are
2 points behind them.

Yes. We are about two months behind our usual schedule in terms of a team rebuild. It's unrealistic to expect a Championship squad to get off to a flyer in this league. Unfortunately the fans with high expectations may not be able to deal with a run of poor results.
