Right up there alongside him to be honest.

I think the difference is Halliday’s not an immature wee idiot.
Yes he’s a big Rangers fan, but I don’t think he goes about flute in hand, playing the sash, craving the love and attention of the fans of a team he barely kicked a ball for.
Don’t necessarily think he’d be the worst signing in the world, sort of player that does the dirty work in the middle of the park, you’d get 100% out of him every week anyway.

Hearing today that Andy Halliday’s Tannadice-bound.
Hopefully he heads right past Tannadice and into Dens.
He played with McPake at Livi. Maybe more likely he'd end up there.

It’s a done deal from what I’m told.

Ach well in that case he gets my full support.

I feel like if this is something that happens, he will have to put in some very good performances to win over most of the fans. Like Tek said - an extremely staunch one.

All a bit childish to be against a player based on who he supports. I'm sure if you went through our current squad you would find a few with The Rangers leanings.
Is he good enough , Well he played a good number of games last season for a top six side both at left back and in midfield. IMO a stronger left back than Robson.

Call me childish all you want. Just another Fraser Aird. No thanks.

He's a The Rangers fan 🤷♂️
If he comes to Utd and plays well that's all that matters

Don't really care who a player supports/supported, if they show ability and commitment. However, I've never been too impressed by his ability in midfield, and think we could surely do better. At left back he is not great.
He only played a full two or three league games last season.

Shankland is also a currant bun. If Halliday plays well and got us to the top 6 he could march on July 12th for all I care.

This for me. Couldn't give a fuck who he supports or what he has sung.
There are far too many Utd fans obsessed with Rangers.

Clubs cant really do that though.
You should start reading the same newspaper as me...THE UNPRECEDENTED TIMES.
It's already started! 😁

Coronavirus doesnt give clubs the freedom to rip up contracts. Simple as that.

Andy Halliday going to the MLS after admitting he couldn't play for another Scottish Club after leaving Rangers, in todays papers & BBC 'Gossip' page.

Disagree a wee bit with obsessed, bowers. I've already said on here regarding Halliday, and over a long period of time, that I don't care about player allegiances: most players will have had an interest in a club when they were wee, and that will stay with them in the main as they get older. In Scotland, given supporter bases, the majority of players will side with Parkhead or Ibrox.
Aird was moved on, not because of his 'staunchness', but because he was disruptive in the dressing room.
Where I get pissed off at 'Rangers' is the insistence of media and the fans that they are a continuation of the 1872 club, when it's a plain fact that they are not. It's an insult to our intelligence to suggest otherwise.

I also get pissed off with their insistence that they were voted out of the top league when it's abundantly clear this didn't happen. They cling to victim status in the same way flies cling to shit.
Perhaps I am slightly obsessed, but fuck them and may they die soon and forever 👍

Good for him. Not a surprise considering he wasnt part of the 8 who they announced a few weeks back.
I think the fact he came through the academy has played a big factor in this decision but Robbie clearly has been impressed with him in training and reserve games. Has anyone actually seen him play in the flesh? Ive always heard he is a bit of an old style defender with a lot of pace. It will be interesting to see if he gets any game time in the coming season.

Pleased about this. He's a player who strikes me as the sort of lad who is good for the team, watching the pattern of play and structure and very vocal, both in encouraging others and telling them when they have strayed out of position. He also appears strong on the ball, and fast when required. This may sound odd, but he is, for me, the correct build for a full back.
Watched him in a bounce match where Dillon Powers and a few rated young lads like Ross Graham played, for me he was the stand out. I've little doubt he'll play next year in the top league.
