Rumour.
Stephen Kingsley.
Not long released by Hull City. Young, Scottish.
Thats an interesting one. Decent source?? Left back is he not??

Can't see us signing Kingsley. Can cover at centre half, but we need a starter there, imo.

Young winger from Man City, Luke Bolton coming in.

Played in the Championship with Luton last season. Interesting. 20 years old.

A WINGER THANK THE LORD

There are a few good clips of him on YouTube. Played right back a lot for Luton last season but natural position is a winger. Looks quick and can beat a man! A bit of the McMullan's about him where he seems to like to stand his opponent up and take him on. Fine by me!! Hope the rumour is true!

24 appearances for Luton in the championship last season mostly at right back.

So Man City see him as a Right Back and thats why he played there for Luton... we dont need a right back so I'd assume he is coming in to see how he does as a winger. I hope so anyway!!

Is it too enthusiastic to think we’ve maybe had a nod that the arbitration will not result in relegation so the transfers been given the go ahead?

I think that Micky's words about giving the team a chance to show what they can do was genuine, and if he really wanted someone then it would have happened already. Maybe now after two full weeks, he is making his mind up on a few. No surprise it is a winger either. Good to see he is on the same wavelength as most fans. Centre Half next please!

Boy looks good in his video. Though hard to gauge a players abilities on a 5 minute Youtube video.
A better indicator is that Luton fans seemed to rate him and are speaking of him fondly.
Right wing is a position we are desperately lacking in. Let's be honest McMullan is not good enough to be a weekly starter in the Premiership.

I still remember McMullan's home league debut for us when he got sent off.. he played on the left and continuously ripped their right back to shreds (Shaun Rooney - now at St J). Having someone else who is a proper right winger gives us options to mix things up a bit. I'm still holding out hope we bring the Niskanen boy in too. He has started the season in Finland on fire by all accounts.

I agree Mcmullan is not good enough to play regularly in the SPL. For me it's a case of the Emperors New Clothes with him. His best games for us were games where he was deployed as a Spaniel up front manically scurrying to and fro trying to close opponents down. Without touching the ball at all he has played his best games. He has poor technique, can't cross a ball, can't control the ball and dissapears in games. We desperately need pace with the ball and creativity in the team. PM has consistently proven himself to be sadly lacking over the years.

I mean he definitely needs to improve his final ball but his 10+ assists last season show he can deliver a good ball now and again. Shankland's 2nd goal v ICT and Logan Chalmers header vs Morton are just two examples. Not a player I'd want to lose, just maybe not a player we can rely on in for the entire season. But will still be important for us at times I'd suggest.

There are going to be long spells this season when we don't have the ball. Any wide player needs to be a good defender as well.
PM does not defend well. Yes we all want to see attacking football but we have to be difficult to break down.
A RB/ RW sounds good to me.
Offline
would suit both parties we need a true wide player and he will want game time
I have more hope from a Man City young player than some of the previous loan signings made

If Mellon prefers to defend from the front though then he may have his uses. As the post above states, he will chase endlessly in the opposition half.

Scott Burns:The clubs are in talks, but it isn’t finalised yet. @dundeeunitedfc are looking for a season-long loan for Luke Bolton. United are hoping a deal can be agreed with @ManCity later today. Bolton can play at full back or as a winger.

Nommi57 is correct. He has been constantly abused by several posters across several threads. If you doubt this go and look and write down the full range of derogatory comments made by many people and you will find a pattern of constant abuse. Cruel and disgusting!

Oh behave for goodness sake. Read some of the nonsense he's spouting to folk, inflammatory posting. Here we are discussing him again instead of what the threads for. Cruel and disgusting lol, have you ever spent a day in the real world? If he's entirely made up of marshmallow and whatever is said on here actually affects him then perhaps the Internet is not really the place for him after all. Never read so much tripe.
It's nice to know that I am now the premier purveyor of tripe. Oh you are offal but I like you👍

I just think your no seeing or even looking for the whole picture, but I'm done with discussing him now. I'll do as Tek asks and ignore his ramblings in future.
