If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.

I have seldom been so incensed at a football match in my nelly puff.
It was at Dens in the Doon Cup, Dundee's first honour since 1974.
The ballboy in front of the Dairy wantonly threw the ball directly into Tam Scobie's face as he waited to take a throw-in.
This was clearly witnessed by United supporters including myself who were at the Tannadice end and near to the Dairy.
The moron would have been about 13 or 14 & the action was clearly intended.
He was removed from his position two or three minutes later by a steward as a precaution.
The still-irate away fans would have ripped him from limb-to-limb given the chance.

This is not sour grapes. Dundee deserved their honour on one of their finest nights in their 125-plus years history.

But never mind Ibrox etc, could this only happen at Dens?

Just to be clear, given how honking Tam Scobbie was, are you sure he wasn't trying to header the ball and accidentally slammed it with his puss? 😂

Would you have said the same thing about Paul Dixon cos apparently it was him, not our Tam.
Nevertheless, the incident made me puke.

Relegation at Dens, not actually them relegating us, which obviously was pish, but standing there as our supporters applauded the absolute shite in that team off the park.

The continued love-in for players such as Rankin, Paton on twitter these days continues to make me sick.

I have no 'real' ill feeling towards Paton/Rankin nor do I have any massive sense of love for them. I walked out of Dens that night devastated. I didn't clap, I didn't boo. Just felt numb.

But to think... If it wasnt for a couple of dodgy spins off the woodwork, Paton and Rankin may have left United as 'legends'. All down to one match in 2014. Football is a funny old game.

Re: Angriest you've felt as a Utd supporter?

Certainly in football terms it was the 1987 final. I had been to both the 1981 and 1985 finals plus the League Cup final of 1980, but, crucially not the replay, so I had not seen  my team win anything. I was at Hampden on my own. The feelings  of despair, anger and sheer dejection when Ian Ferguson scored  cannot be put into words.

In terms of just anger, I think it was when I learned that McNamara et al were being "incentivised" to develop players and sell them on. It just seemed like the supporters were being treated with contempt.

MARK KERR no words

KENNY CLARK worst actual decision v us in.a final

DAVID SYME 1991 final two offside goals four post match sending offs but it was a great game. No it was not.

Should have at least 3 or 4more trophies. Not to mention shiting our drawers against the "Hoops"....

Dumbarton away twice 3 or 4 years ago. Alloa away under the "genius" twice.
