Hearts already saying they will take legal action if latest league construction plans fail.

I don't see what's going to change in a few days since the clubs voted on reconstruction. It's just desperate straw clutching from Anne fucking Budge.
As we have repeatedly said, she would not be interested one bit if Hearts were not the club in 12th position, even fucking less so if it were to be Hibs instead. Complete and utter self interest trying to masquerade as unity for all and the greater good. Bollocks!!
To be fair mate if Hearts were Dundee United we would be screaming for Tony Asghar to be punching **** out of the decision & if he or our club wasn't doing so, we the fans would be ramming the gates of Hampden ourselves.
Chances are Hearts would probably have got themselves off the bottom had the last 8 games been played but they weren't so what can you do apart from appeal like ****?
So I'm afraid the next round in this mess-fest is going to be all about...BUDGE RIGOUR ...!
(sorry, couldn't resist!)

Pat Reilly, not disagreeing as such but my thinking was if we give the consumer something they WANT (in this case TV is the consumer), we would be able to get a better TV deal which offer greater prize money to all and allow a bit more breathing room to invite more in.
For reference, (going by the first websites I could find)
the tv deal for rugby league is worth in excess of £40m a year with much fewer viewers.(2017 article)
The spfls contract is worth 21m (between sky and bt). The contract signed for the 20/21 season is worth 30m/ season
I think we do a horrendous job of selling the game and we could easy command. 1 old firm derby recently pulled in 1.4m viewers - at the same time rugby leagues leeds/Wigan pulled around 250k

Yeah you're right of course. But having said that, we have done our 4 years of pain and now it's some other cunts turn, and I spare Anne Budge zero sympathy.
None of this of course changes the fact that reconstruction (especially temporary) is on the table for any other reason than the fact that it's Hearts in this position and not a so called Diddy team, and I won't accept anyone telling me any different.

I mean which other football governing body would form a league reconstruction panel and put at the head of it the one person who has the most to gain?? Complete and utter bollocks from start to finish!
I'd like to think if we were in Hearts' position we would be doing exactly the same.
Can you imagine the furore on the forums, meltdown central.
On that, I'd like to look in a Hearts forum but am feared!
Just an aside. Hearts play in front of 17,000 home fans.
Motherwell (3rd) less than 4,000.
Livingsone (5th) less than 2,000
St Johnstone (6th, they've gone above Hibs) less than 3,000.
Just saying. No wonder we can't get a sponsor!

i notice that Scott Brown has posted on Instagram with the League trophy and a '9 in a row' tshirt... that was quick...
When will United get our trophy?

Our fans would be in an uproar, and I agree with you smedDUm: every club looks out for itself.

Yes, but the point is, if it were Livingston or Accies in the same predicament as Hearts no one would be talking about league reconstruction, we all know this.

Sympathize with Hearts.
We can all I'll afford to do without these attendances ie what's our cut of 17,000 vs cut of 2,000 ?
But ultimately tough tit move on abidy.
Including Budge who hasnae got a snowballs if she goes to court.
Hope they go top next season and stick one right up the Funsters

We get no cut of the 17,000 unless its a cup game.
Handy revenues tho with 2,500 Hearts fans in the Jerry Kerr as opposed to 200 Livi fans in the Fair Play..
Not Livi's fault btw, they have no football tradition nor population there.
Well, population that doesn't descend upon Glesgae every Saturday anyway....

No offence Smedum, but these teams you mention all finished deservedly above Hearts and despite having low crowds they deserve their place in the top league on merit.
For the last four seasons we have had better crowds than half of the top flight but still weren't good enough to be in it.
Hearts are relegated because they produced shite football and that's all there is to it.

Agreed..... even their record appearance holder cringing at their response....

Agreed.
Also agree with Arabdownsouth.
All academic.
Like I say let's hope they stick it right up the Fun.

Ann Budge to present her new reconstruction plans by the end of the week.
WHY are the SPFL still allowing the Chairwoman of the football club set to lose the most from this situation in charge or reconstruction?? It's baffling.
My suggestion would be to reconstruct after the 20/21 season. So play it out as is with Hearts/Partick/Stranraer all going down BUT move to 3 leagues of 14 for 21/22 which gives these teams every chance of going straight back up.

TBH lads, I dinna really care how many teams are in the Premiership, as long as we're 1 of them.

It's not so much baffling as it is downright fucking outrageous, only in Scotland would this be allowed to happen.
It really is no wonder we have the piss ripped out of us by Sky and everyone else.
I'd love to buy a car off Neil Doncaster, I bet I could persuade the cunt to give me money just to take it off his hands!
