Thats the transfer window very close and we are starting to see the interest in players.
Alot would have seen that Les Ferdinand was st the game Friday several pictures of him about.
Todays record saying QPR are after Shankland and several other clubs had representatives at the game.

I will be honest, this window terrifies me.
From a distance it seems things are going well, the memories of Dodds in 1999 and GMS/Armstrong in 2015, haunt me.
Really hoping for a good window with a few additions and no un wanted departures

Agree, will be glad to see the window closed with Shankland still here.

Neilson’s saying there’s nothing in the McGinn rumours.
Pretty sure he said the same about Cammy Smith, Nesbitt, Sow and Pawlett though, so I’m taking it with a pinch of salt.

Bet he wishes he'd kept his word if that's the case

If Les Ferdinand or anyone else was watching Shankland on Friday with a view to signing him then he will be staying at Tannadice.
Which i actually think is best for him btw.

Still one or two rumours floating about that Safranko is coming back here.
Not sure how i feel about that tbh. Good player (at our level) who works hard. But feel we need a different option in the last third.
Someone with pace ideally who can play off the shoulder of a defender.

Where are the rumours from? I'd like him back alongside Shanks.
Imagine how much space he would free up for Lawrence as he definitely keeps defenders busy.

I think Siafranko and Shankland could be a really good pairing. Would Neilson play them together though?

We need width and a decent attacking CM, but if no one leaves and no one comes in we’ll still walk the league. We need to be signing premier league players and that will be difficult in January, so I’d rather wait and get the right player in the summer than sign the wrong player now just because they’re available.

We might hear of a couple of PCA’s in this window, if we are in fact dealing with an eye on next season

Osman sow returns to the club agter his loan. I imagine we will see him in the squad over the next couple of games

Potentially a different option to what we have but you have to wonder if his heart's in it...
I'm guessing Osman will get the ,'time wasting substitution in the last two minutes slot' that Cammy Smith* has made his own...
*assuming he's moving on/loaned out soon.

Alan Forrest may be one of them from what I’m hearing.

It may be the case we end up moving Cammy Smith out on loan to bring in a another winger as cover?

Would make sense, it’s just not gonna work for him here, decent player he might be, but he suffers from not being versatile enough to play anywhere other than in the hole. He’d be better off going somewhere where the manager would build a team around him, the likes of Dunfermline or even The Fun might not be a bad shout for him.

Rubbish internet rumour.
Scott Sinclair, 6 month loan.
Silly season is indeed, upon us...

Not a chance in Hell.
He'll be on about 20 grand a week.

Saw a worrying rumour that Chris Mochrie has rejected a contract extension like Scott Banks. You have to wonder why we actually bother with a youth system if the good ones just want to fuck off after about 2 minutes.

The Sun has us interested in Blair Lyons, young striker at Montrose.
St. Mirren, Partick and The Fun all also chasing him apparently.
Saw him at Station Park on Saturday. Didn't know who he was but as the game went on had to find out. He was making a great impression down Montrose's attacking left side. Sean Dillon & Cammy Ballantyne both had good games in Montrose's back four.
