What a brilliant run-in we've got -
Mar 21 ALLOA (H)
Mar 28 ARBROATH (A)
Apr 4 QotS (H)
Apr 11 ICT (A)
Apr 18 PARTICK (H)
Apr 25 FUN (A)
May 2 AYR UTD (H)
So last 7 games, 4 at Home, 1 over the road, 1 fifteen minutes up the A92 & only 1 really Away (ICT)
With a bit of luck one of these games might be a major celebration.
Taking nothing for granted though, there's a long winter ahead....

You'd like to think we would be looking at the Queens or the Inverness game as possible title winning weekends, Imagine the Tangerine invasion of Inverness if there was a chance that weekend.
As you said we have a habit of hibernation over the December to March period and have gone on some horrendous runs during this period for a number of years now so Champers back on the shelf and we'll revisit in March one the daffies are back on the go.

As things stand, that does look pretty favourable. Looooooooong way to go before we reach the run in though, smedDUm.

Foolish thread. The next games at Morton look no further ahead than that

Agree re foolish thread. Not even into December yet. Next 3 months will really test us I believe. Just take the next seven games for example:
Morton A
Alloa. H
Arbroath A
Ayr. H
Dundee. H
QOTS. A
Partick. A
The only one out of that lot I would say is a stick on 3 points is Alloa at home. Even then experience of the last few seasons tells me not to say that.
Online!
No title talk from me just yet lol. I'm looking for 3 points at Morton first and foremost. That said, if we get them then that's a clean sweep on my next five games post from an earlier thread 😂

Cant argue that it doesnt look good, be some great days out (and sore heads) if we can manage to wrap it up early!
praying that we keep the form up, take it a game at a time and just manage to have a positive points return over the winter period, probably the time to test what the squads made of, sure we will come through fine though. love the positive vibes around the club and the fans at the moment. its sad to say but i cant really remember the last time its been like this!
It's just a bit of fun looking ahead IMO. I don't think it's going to jinx anything.
How good would it be to have won the title at home to Partick then play our next game at Dens! Guard of Honour?

Fair comment: at the time I'd replied that I thought you were 'looking too far ahead'. So I'm not looking at the fixtures with any great expectations these days.
At the start of 2016-17, I planned out we'd win the title at Dumfries in April, seventh last game of the season. Didn't work out too well.
FFS.
I saw y'day that the Challenge Cup semis had been drawn & the final was scheduled for 28/29 March.
ICT & Partick could meet in the final.
That prompted me to look at the later stages of the league programme hoping that we weren't down to play either of these teams on that Saturday.
We're not, it's Arbroath away.
But in looking I did notice round about that period ending with the final league fixture on the 2nd May that 6 of the last 7 games were as good as home games with only ICT away in the middle of the list.
I brazenly suggested that one of these games might be a bit special but was only hinting that there could be a considerable Arab presence at 6 of the 7 games.
Then I reminded myself in my post that there's a long hard winter ahead. The thread title was 'Carlsberg run-in', not 'the league is as good as won'. Wherever we are in the league I'm looking forward to the the Arab Spring alongside Arabs in big numbers.

Easy to get carried away. I'm wary of expectancy. Spoke to an ICT fan last week that reminded me DFC threw away a 15 point lead when they got promoted. That's fitba.
Still though, I can't help planning the holidays aff work for every fkn game this season.
Support is increased at home and will be away in the run in massively "if" we keep up the good results.
Had a feeling Shankland would have an injury at a point in the season. Nicky Clark hitting form is magic and needed. Louis Apérré could well be a hero tae.
Time will tell. Fans need to be fanatics.
