Solid, if unspectacular, 2-0 home win tomorrow.
McMullan and Shankland with the goals.

3-0 shankland brace and butcher

I feel more comfortable going into tomorrows game than i did this time last week before the Arbroath game.
2-0 home win with goals from Shankland and Appere

Depends if Robbie gets his nat king tonight. If yes, the a solid 4-4-2 and a 4-0 pumping. No nat king, then a stubborn Largs 1-1. In all seriousness though, what has happened for him to change a winning formula? I can not get my head around it. Yeah Smedum, two up top!! Imagine that! Actually going for it. Comisrations to your lady.

If we perform at our best we should win comfortably, score first hopefully! Doubt we will keep a clean sheet but we are due one, head says nervy 2-1 heart says fuck em! 5-0. Listen to your heart lol
Please, please, please, please.....
AN EARLY GOAL
Makes a world of difference.
The fans are energised (think we were asleep v the Lichties) & the oppo have to come at you & they don't kill the game.
So PLEASE, an early goal.
United 1 Morton 0 (Shankland 90 + 5).
4 ex-Uniteds at Morton just now.
None started v Dundee last week.
Brian McLean came on as a sub, Robbie Muirhead & Billy King were unused subs.
No mention of Aidan Nesbitt last week, injured maybe.
Other than them John Sutton led the line, Jack Baird & Peter Grant were the CH's, Both reasonable & experienced I would say, Grant scored the goal that beat Dundee. Celtic loanee Stephen Welsh was at RB.
Chris Millar centre mid is now 36, he played 300 games for St J. Jim McAlister was beside him in midfield, he's a young lad at just 33! The two of then were in charge of the team against us at the end of last season when JJ got the bullet.
Goalie Danny Rogers from RoI you might remember from Falkirk 2015-17.

I like big Peter Grant at the back for them.

4-1 to United as a hopeful prediction. Cannae see us keeping a clean sheet: that goal we lost last week was amateurish defending from several players.
But the firepower, not just of Shankland, should ensure a comfortable win.
Don't expect much protection from Alan Muir, who is up there with the worst of referees in Scotland.

We need to ramp up the goal difference, too

Wow! Shankland in 1 minute!

Make that 2 in 5! Looks like we may be playing 1 up front for a while now with a start like that.

Brilliant start! Another one and Morton will be utterly demoralised!

Picked the wrong game to start 10 mimites late!
