Is this the stand we are housed in on Tuesday?

Yes. I helped in the building of that structure. Often I tell fibs, but in this case it's true. There will be seats in the stand for those who want to sit, however.

Good spot.
Original post amended.

Online!
Thinking about Tuesday maybe I would not mind seeing:
Shankland Sow
Appere Banks McMullan
Bouhenna
Sporle Reynolds Connolly L.Smith
Siegrist
Maybe a goal or two against lesser opposition maybe what Sow needs to boost his confidence and also use the games against these teams to give young Appere and Banks more first team minutes.
I thought Banks looked good on Friday when he came on.

Will disagree on that.
It's a wee ground but tidy i thought, seen a lot worse.
And the astroturf is one of the better ones imo.

Agreed its not the worse astro but my point was all astro is shite football should be played on grass.
Also agred its not the worse ground in the senior just totally open on two sides.
What is the worst ground in senior football? Cowdenbeath and Albion Rovers take some beating

Hopefully Sporle gets a start tonight and again Friday maybe get him more used to playing over here.
Shankland and Clark upfront hopefully and go for it.

Not a chance everyone who’s queuing will get in before half 7.

Piss poor stuff

Absolutely fucking brutal.
Sideways pish again, want to be positive but fuck all to take from that other than we aren’t behind.

Really that bad min?

Bar a decentish(ish) 10 minute spell at the start of the 2nd half, that was really uninspiring stuff and pretty scrappy for the most part.
Our defending at their set-piece for their goal pretty worrying. We also got off the hook with the disallowed goal they scored i think. It looked on to me.

No one played well in my opinion except Shankland and Appere who both worked had but nothing seemed to come off for them.
Sideways defensive pish against Stenhousemuir is horrific, quickly losing patience with the manager and with Dundee in the league he won’t have much time to rectify it if we start slowly.
I tend to slag people off that are negative during the betfred cup but holy fuck that was painful.

Just back and tbh that was horrible to watch. I’m not panicking yet but the style of football we play does not auger well for the coming season.

Good finish fae Butcher, typical determined goal fae Watson, Shankland unlucky not to score and had surprisingly much less of the ball played to him than I expected. His link up and layoffs were good when we did play him in and like how he chased the ball down rapidy.
Far fae match sharp and confident. Some who gave the ball away badly came onto the game a bit and did better but a long way tae go.
Expect Shankland will see alot more direct service and involvement as time moves on.
Decent sized support.
Still feel we need another creative midfielder, CH and winger.
We need to be far more direct.

Shankland is really going to struggle this season through no fault of his own. We don’t play to his strengths at all which is crazy considering he’s shown how good he can be.
Time will tell and I’m still confident about this season but tonight hasn’t given me much extra hope.

I get what yer sayin bud, but as you say, early days. I was surprised how little we hit the baw his way but when we did he showed up well in a game he will probably be annoyed about too.
I was worried how easily we gave the ball away v hearts, then the same again tonight but did it much less. Hope we can get up to speed and match sharp at a good rate.
Plenty teams are having similar experiences at this early stage. Some that do well get carried away like Dumbarton who signed a pile of trialists after beating us 3-2 then were 5-0 down at HT tae Morton tonight. Hearts only beat Cowdenbeath 0-2 tonight. Dees going mental about beating Raith 0-3 and players posing stuff about it on Twatter. Add tae that Montrose beat St Johnstone tonight.
I'm no happy with what I've seen in alot of the 1st 2 competitive games including fae a couple of new signings and worry too.
Hopes are dented but I'm no sure we're match ready, finished bringing in new players or that the new signings won't adjust tae the frantic speed and aggression in oor league.
Could have scored another 2 or 3 tonight and I'd feel better but we didn't so it's easy to feel how we do.
