Confident of another win for us and what a massive 6pts that would be for us on that horrible surface with Reynolds, Connolly and Fyvie back after a good rest for the run In.
3-1 United. Clark, Saf and Pawlett.

This game is crucial and we come away with the 3 points it will be fantastic. I expect us to win this and play well for more than 45 mins this week.

Probably McMullan, you'd think right enough. Didn't take part in the reserve game in midweek.
"I'll tell you, honestly, I will love it if we beat them. Love it."
I'd especially like to absolutely pump them, but would settle for a single goal win.

If you watch the only goal clip of the dens park reserve match massacre, McMullan scores a well manufactured peach of a goal that's on the DUFC twitter.
He seems to maybe be mair up furrit, chasing down and defending too but I'm going by games I wasn't at so some might put me right on this.

No easy games in this league home or away.
But I think our winning run will continue.
I'm going 0-2, another clean sheet, goals from our strikers Safranko and Clark

Strong team today. Only questionable choice is Frans over Bouhenna, I prefer RB, but Neilson clearly sees Frans as his 3rd choice centre half.

Yip. Hard luck story in the play offs to come. Hopefully not against the bluenoses.

what utter defeatist knee jerk nonsense.
Todays results make it more difficult there is no doubt about that.
Hopefully no one in the terrors dressing room shares that spineless wave the white flag attitude.

I'll bet you Dundee United miss out on promotion to the premier League via the play offs. How much you wanna wager against that?

So you genuinely think we can overturn the 5 point deficit and their game in hand to go top of a league we haven't topped once all season? Admire your optimism pal but I'd say there's virtually no chance of us winning the league after today's result.

Also, I think we know by now that there are several in the dressing room with exactly that attitude, as they have shown on several occasions already.

I dont bet. However the odds against UTD winning the league will have lengthened after today. While there is a chance you have to keep fighting. If it becomes mathmatically impossible to go up I will accept its over. Things can turn quickly

I would not call myself optimistic. But its not over. RC had a good victory today but are far from unbeatable.

Unfortunately that does look like a title winning result for County today.
We need to just take a game at a time and keep trying to chip away at their lead.
But failure to win on Tuesday night at home and i'd say realistically it's looking like play-off's.

Disappointing end to what’s been a really shit week. We needed those 3 points today to apply some pressure, instead the pressure on County has eased a fair bit.
It’s not over but it’s not far off. Need a winning run for 5/6 games now without fail.

Play offs where we will possibly have to overcome Inverness, Ayr and a premiership team. When we cant beat Falkirk that's a tall order.

Have to admit I'm gutted tonight. It looks a very tall order now to win this outright.
I don't agree though that because we didn't win today we couldn't win the play off games needed, false logic imo
But, we are running out of games. We definitely need a win Tuesday night and Ayr to take something up there. And even then we would probably have to beat County twice. Looking a bit grim but until it's mathematically impossible I'll keep hoping.

Just a view, but sitting in a predominantly home section of the ground today, when the free kick was given (was it a drop ball due to Morgaro's injury?) and Paton was fouled by PP, daftly in my view, the Falkirk crowd sensed a big chance. They'd just heard of County going ahead against Thistle, and the next minute seemed to have an inevitability about it.
We should have been out of sight before that, but the reality is, that has been the pattern of that last few games.
Generally, Falkirk fans thought we should have left with the three points, but we slipped up. I'm still relatively confident that we can come close to County, but we are running out of games and opportunities.
Are we overplaying a bit, and should be more direct?

I'm finding it a bit hard to understand why you want to bet on our failure tbh.
Very bad result today and yes it does look unlikely now but there might yet be a twist or turn to come. One thing in our favour is that we do have them twice to come, are you saying it's impossible to beat them twice?
As to the play offs, completely different games to the league and I don't see why we couldn't go up via that route if we have to.
Why I'm so positive I know not, as said earlier feeling gutted tonight.

Re the last sentence Pat, I'm disappointed he hasn't found room for Nesbitt. I thought the lad looked creative direct and dangerous what I've seen of him (on tv and zone games)

Falkirk were hard to play against and will be for others, especially on that pitch but we dithered in the final 3rd and didn't get enough balls into the box.
Not enough seats fir the support. Dozens standing.
What the fuck was wi the ref? Awful performance. Ken I'm biased and will need to see the highlights but everything in the 2nd half was against us and the majority in their favour.
Worst Bouhenna took an elbow in the puss in the opposition box. Black eye and maybe a broken nose. Nae penalty. Free kick tae falkirk. Must be for assaulting the strikers elbow with his puss.
