Re: Tony Asghar

Prob the most important role at the club going forward.  Hopefully this boy knows what he’s doing.

Re: Tony Asghar

Worth looking him up on Linkedin.

Interesting background, former Detective Constable with Strathclyde

Re: Tony Asghar

Hopefully he’s a bit more qualified for the job than the double glazing salesman.

One problem I have with us getting into bed with this Revolution Sports group is the worry that they’ll use United as a platform to showcase their own clients, whether good, shite or indifferent.

I’m assuming the boy Keith Wyness who was Chief Exec at Aston Villa will be coming in to run the club.

Re: Tony Asghar

He looks like a cross between a Federal agent and a mafioso, hopefully he will not take any shite.

Re: Tony Asghar

I notice John Park, the ex-Celtic scout who was credited with bringing in guys like van Dijk and Wanyama, is involved with his agency. Hopefully he can get us a few gems.

Re: Tony Asghar

Reading up on tony and revolution sports they seem to have very good connections.
Lets hope this turns out to a good thing. Id like to think after saturday they are going to go the extra mile and try and get us out this mess.

Re: Tony Asghar

I know we're all a bit wary but how good would it be if the recent events in the change of ownership at DUFC turned out to be the greatest thing since sliced bread?

I think using us as a platform for their clients is exactly what they'll do and while I can see the potential downsides the good news is that the best place for them to do that is in the top flight so with any luck they'll maybe push some players out way that normally wouldn't be seen dead in the Scottish championship.

Will see soon enough i guess.

As opposed to the mediocre, shite and indifferent that we have now? Gamble worth taking in my book, absolutely fuck all left to lose at this juncture in time tbh.

Good to see some well-known names endorsing him.

Re: Tony Asghar

Normally i'd be very wary of getting into bed with an agent but let's be honest drastic times call for drastic measures.

If the guy can use his network of contacts to get us some gems then it gets my vote.

I think this is the over all plan

I would say Asghar is the brains behind this and Ogren is the money

That’s probably why Ogren wasn’t over for the takeover announcement I would say

I imagine the plan is to be similar to wolves in England

This is just an opinion and I might be wrong

It’s defin a lot better than where we were going under Thompson and Martin though as the boy at the helm has a clear plan and seems he isn’t a total moron

Re: Tony Asghar

The single agency has been a disaster over at Dens, let's hope we have better results.

Sliced bread isn't all it's cracked up to be. Have you never noticed how quickly it becomes mouldy at the edges?

Before it gets mouldy toast it then add one layer of nutella one layer of good marmalade and it's chocolate orange breakfast.
To be fair it's maybe quicker having an actual chocolate orange instead but it's not really a hot snack is it?

Continuing the food theme just for Shedboy Mr Asghar looks like a man who will take a keen interest in ensuring our pies are up to standard as well as the team
