I'd take Ivan Golac back. Compared to this twunt he was a tactical genius

The assistant that Mixu brought in with him. He did get a few decent results as far as I remember after taking over as caretaker, but I am not sure if it would work out on a permanent basis and would he be interested in a return to United.
What has he been doing since leaving at the end of that season as I haven't heard the name since.

Pressley not interested, apparently.

I liked Neilson as a player - an awkward, bloody minded individual who took no prisoners, just the type of character we need. Agree with what has been said about his relationship with CL though. He failed badly without him although that MK Dons job is a poisoned chalice it seems.
Would put Robson as a very similar character to Neilson. Would take no shit and would be very driven to succeed. Still cares about the club too.

Have you not missed Neilson from the top of that list?

You'd have to say the United job is also a poisoned chalice though

I want Luggy. His teams play decent football and he has a great track record at doing well at clubs in crisis - like we currently are.
Big no to Robson and Daly. No experience whatsoever, and a pair of complete wankers, to boot. Anybody who has had the ill-fortune to meet both would no doubt agree with that sentiment. People skills and man-management are essential and those two are severely lacking on that front.
Neilson seems to be the bookies favourite and I'm not too keen on him. Nevertheless, he seems to be the most likely out of a fairly uninspiring pool, at the moment.
Hiya Paul 👍

We played absolutely horrific football under Luggy.

At this moment I’d forgo pretty football if we can get this ship turned around. CL was being crusified when he first took over again at Hearts, needed to get his house in order and now look at them!

Fuck pretty football, just direct football is what's needed. We have height throughout the team now( probably the only thing he got right) get the ball from back to front quickly and balls into the box. No dicking around at the back and losing possession/ giving away needless free kicks. It's not La liga we are playing in after all.

Really would not want Pressley
Happy with McI, Neilson or Robson
I think whoever comes in will be able to improve quickly 🤞

Whoever comes in it's a complete & utter phukn lottery I'm afraid.
Of the 15 managers we've had since Jim McLean you'd have kept one of them if you knew how it was going to end up.
Not a good success rate, is it? Be as well tossing a coin. Might come down Ellis.

I've voted for Robson in our poll and my reason for that is I feel if he could transfer his attitude on the pitch to the dug out then he will go on to be as good manager as he was a player.
I'm not too fused if it's McIntyre/ Dodds as McIntyre has course and distance form in this league with Dunfermline.
I'm not too fused either if it's Neilson as he had a no nonsense approach like all the rest above.
Ellis is hopefully only a wee short time appointment to get any of the above in place and the sooner the better. We have fucked about with Lazlo so let's get the finger out and get the new man in place.
Ps I couldn't give a fuck how we get out of this league as long we do it this season.

yes - Cathro isnt capable of battling football imo - despite RC last season if i were a board member id talk to Coyle. Why? does that give you the fear?? lol

What about Tony Docherty?
Been a big part of successful Aberdeen team over the past 5 or so years. Surely he’d be as qualified as anyone within our reach. Knows the club as well from his time as assistant to Jobby, Jism, Brewster and Levein.
