I’d like to see Keatings feature.
What’s the deal with him though?
He was tweeting last Saturday that he was fit but not selected - is there a fall out or is he not trusted?

Hasn't played much in the last 12 months so lacking match fitness, touch etc...might just be that...maybe

I think he will be offski if someone pays some sort of fee.
Strange he plays then dropped right out the team. I think a fall out with him and laszlo

It looks like a fall out, wasn’t wanting all my posts to be negative though 😂
I do know him and McMullen aren’t talking and that nae neck just pishes himself laughing every time laszlo talks either that or just disagrees with him like the wee mess out of still game - not sure he’s that big a miss tough

So, McMullan and Keatings unlikely to start? Do the other players respect Csaba?
Suppose we'll find out soon, but it's an absolute mess for the fans, generally. We all want United to win matches, but many/most think that it's unlikely Csaba can do the job.
I'm still shaking my head at his use of substitutes, in the last five competitive (league) games, only one of which we've won. And if I'm honest, the squad he has assembled isn't good enough to trouble the top of this league.
So I don't think I'm alone in thinking a win at the weekend prolongs the agony. There's one man who must take the bulk of the blame for the situation: Mike Martin.

Stephen would have sacked him.

Maybe. But a certainty is ST appointed him. So for all the changes MM has trumpeted, he's not changed the most important.

Don't ever want to see United lose so hoping the new Slovak boy starts and we carve out at least a narrow win.
Clear now that Fyvie isn't going to be able to save Csaba.
What a time to be an Arab...

Doubt Keatings will play again under the clown that is Lazslo. He's been banished to train with the 20's.
Like everyone else just wish MM would sack the clown as its an absolute banker to happen this month. He is not turning this round.

He should hold tight.
New man will be in soon.

We haven't even signed him yet

Boy on Twitter reckons Laszlo will be gone tomorrow.
Slovak boy not signed yet why? Board holding it up?

If there is any truth that Laszlo is going to be away then that could explain why the deal has seemed to stall. Why would the board let it go through in that situation, especially if the new man in charge does not fancy him. I would be doubtfull if that rumour is true though.
As far as the game goes if Rabitsch plays he should be warned about his crazy challanges rather than have to waste a sub to stop him being sent off, which he should have been against Dunfermline.

The new Slovakian striker getting thrown right into action.
Csaba going for a 3-5-2 😮

Last roll of the dice by a desperate man. Reminds me of Brewster at Falkirk all those years ago.

Glad he used the league cup as a pre season to make sure the teams was well drilled and familiar with this formation 🧐

Desperation from László IMO.
Throwing the new boys right in to a formation he hasn’t used yet is a total roll of the dice.

Good result on the park.
Looks from stats as though we were dominant first half, and on the back foot for the second.
Grateful to anyone who went for a summary.
On another note, apart from Elgin have our second half performances not matched the first 45 this season?

Correct Pat. 1St half we were exceptional. 2nd half shite. Great win though and a great day oot

Great 3pts away from home. Need to get a run going, by the sounds of the wireless the new lad did well up top tae. Shed fucking rule (tonight anyway!!)

On paper a good result, albeit a poor second half.
That is one point that does need to be focused on though.
Laszlo said the 'fittest' team in the league would win the league and by all accounts the players have been getting leathered in training with regular double sessions daily.
But looking at the stats of 5 of the 6 games we've played would suggest rather than being a fit team we actually often crumble in the second half (and in particular the last 10 minutes) as Pat alluded too.
Arbroath - Utd take the lead and concede a 82nd minute equaliser
County - We concede a 89th minute winner
Alloa - Utd again take the lead only to concede a 79th minute equaliser
Dunfermline - Utd again lead only to concede the 3rd (and pivotal goal) in the match in the 84th minute
QotS - Once again Utd lead only to concede a 2nd half goal (67th minute) and almost subsequently collapse
This needs addressed. Why do we rarely play well in the second half?

Maybe Csaba should forego his half time team talks

Good to see a solid away win at a difficult away game, it was a game which I would not have been surprised to have seen lost but glad that is not the case.
I have seen the clips of the two goals both of which are good and it is good to see the new boy Šafranko score on his debut, as this can only help his confidence.
Hopefully there can now be a run of good results starting with Partick Thistle in 2 weeks time.
Looking at the results in today's paper I can't help looking at some other teams in particular Fort William that no matter how bad I feel things are it could be a lot worse.
Fort William lost 10-0 at home to Turriff, sure they have also conceded 11 twice already. Their league record P4 W0 D0 L4 F2 A38.
