Move on then, next please! After day three it was becoming less and less likely. Shame would have been a good signing but if he's no interested them why bother.

It is starting to look like he or his agent is playing us like a hey diddle diddle. Need to get this done early next week or move on imo.

Always love a wee off the radar player up top eg Sergio, Nixon, Scotland. Glad this came off after the initial post 🙈

Laddie from Congo being offered to us, one of Freddy VDH's stable, a striker and meant to be rapid. He was over at the weekend looking around Dundee. No name unfortunately.

Apologies if my Umbongo comment upset anyone, didn't realise my childhood drink based reference was offensive.

So the party who want English votes for English laws are now propped up by their Scottish MP's and a bunch of Irish bellends to pass any laws. You honestly couldn't make this shit up.

new Tory PM in Angus for me so we'll see how that pans out. Hopefully her massive farming family will not miss her too much.

Stand by my earlier comment, brief glimpses of being a great wee player but once every two months is not gonna cut it at any level.

Looked the part in a great team with Nads, Armstrong, GMS however looked like a wee laddie out of his depth when playing with Demel, Toshney and Spittal.

When you think we're a joke and things are a shambles. Up step The Fun and blow us out the water with sheer ineptness

Absolute gent every time I've seen him. No doubt he loves the club and this is hurting him. Wish him all the best and although the past three years have not been his finest he is still part of a cup winning side. Thanks for the good times Sean.

Anyone who talks about themselves in the third person is defiantly on the spectrum.

I always say MD, you need to remember that not everyone is as loving of the Tangerine as you is, and that no matter what they say that MD is gonna be supporting the shed forever as that's what MD is all about.

For every one good game he has there are 4 or five where he has no impact at all. Has the potential to be a great wee player but too inconsistent and in this league we canny have players not hitting a certain level of performance every week.

I wish him well and hope that his next move see's a more consistent Blair Spittal

Dundee United » End of season review 16/17 » 30/5/2017 5:10 pm

Player of the Year - Cammy Bell / The Edge

Young Player of the Year - Jamie Robson

Most Improved Player? - Mark Durnan

Worst player of the season? - Coll Donaldson

Favourite win - 3-0 v Patrick at home (Cammy Smith looked like messi that night) thought we were gonna horse the league after that performance.

Most painful defeat - 1-0 v Accies Play-Off Final

One word to sum-up season 16/17? - Wingerless (know that's not an actual word)

Runs and runs and runs and runs.

However he has very little ability to read the game. Tunnel vision. The amount of times he takes up positions which closes space for others is frightening.

I'd take a Billy Dodds type, a real finisher with a brain over a headless Usain Bolt type every day of the week.

No problem with the lad going, he did his best, just that his game consists of one way of playing with no ability to change if it's not working as was evident yesterday.

Dundee United » Niggling away at me... » 29/5/2017 10:54 am

I hear ya WD83 it sore for us today and maybe for a few weeks to come.  TS is however 100% spot on, it's just a job for the majority of them and as a squad last night was a farewell for many of the players.

For me you can't say they didn't want to or didn't try to win, the issue is that they are limited in ability and in the end that's what kept us down. Bang average players who in the end are not good enough to be playing in the top flight.

It hurts us more as we fucking love the club, for others it's a mere passage through their career.

Got mine this morning so mini MD will be with me on Sunday. Hopefully you all got some tae. Really should be a one off game at a neutral ground to let all fans get tickets. Feel for others who have not managed to secure tickets.

He had some sloppy passes but he's strong, two good feet and always looks to a pass. Sure he'll get caught now and again but he'll do much more good than bad imo. What a goal tae boom time 💥💥

That doesn't surprise me in the slightest, our form from Christmas is only really pointing one way which is another season in the Championship. He knows he needs to get us up next season and this is imo why he is getting these lads signed up now.

Would obviously love to see up going up this time but i cannot see it!!

Think we'll get passed Morton over the two games, another draw on Tuesday and an extra time win on Friday. Then we'll lose to Falkirk after drawing at Tannadice we'll lose 2-0 there. Mystic Meg has spoken 😂😂

Can see Dumbarton doing us a favour and us once again blowing it.

100% correct Falkirk will drop points maybe a draw but we'll manage to fuck it up again. 1-1 at best for us.

How did you vote and does this matter in the grand scheme of things?

Fae Angus and have been SNP all my days, we have been under an SNP council for the past 5yrs however they have just been hoisted fae power today and we will more than likely be under an alliance against the SNP. How that pans out we'll soon find out.

There is however been some absolute cockends as part of the SNP here  over the past 5 yrs I am more than happy to see them losing all their power. Sometimes you canny treat fowk like shite just cause you got 1500 votes.

Looks fae other places Labour are the new lib dems and we have a choice Indy v's Union at the election in a few weeks time.
