Edge too for me, he's been superb! Durnan like a new player runs him close with Willo and Bell. Also been impressed with Telfer looking mature in there with Willo taking where he was 5mths ago

Ye merry Christmas lads and lasses on TT been some 12 months but here's hoping we've hit the top and can keep up the pressure on Hibs over the coming months ahead.

Shed Rule to you and yours and hope Santas sacks are full for you all 🎅🏻

Nowhere near firing on all cylinders but as long as the results keep going then you canny complain. Edge was MOTM for me won everything. Went for a piss and missed their goal so canny comment however it sounded like a shocker fae Donaldson again.

Hopefully Durnan ok as we certainly looked more unsure at the back after he went off.

2 clear at Xmas, canny grumble

In football its about the club being right for a player in terms of teammates and manager. Dodds was on the scrapheap at the sheep, wasn't most peoples cup of tea when the signing was going through but within a week he was the main man! Sometimes a  fresh start and new challenge can just be the key to a change in fortunes.

I'll give the lad all the support for the month and see how it goes. much better than throwing a two year deal at him aka Mario / Darko style.

There are too many coaching qualifications in the structure which then waters down the actual coaching process as it's a money making machine for the SFA.

You can do a 1.1 qualification in one day and do next to no coaching but at the end of it you get a qualification to go and take kids coaching

90% of other sports are now through the UKCC structure and this allows a structured and detailed development pathway for the coaches. the UKCC Level 1 is approx £300 compaired to £45 for the SFA one and lasts for a minimum of three full days with coaching to be delivered and monitored as part of the qualification.

go figure that the other sports in the main have a much higher level of coaches working with the kids at a participation level than football.

Good points MD.

I've said this before but to coach in Iceland now you have to be a FIFA accredited coach. And that's to coach kids from as young as 5 years old up.

They've also made it accessible for people to play the game in an environment with even more inclement weather than ours.

Iceland should be the benchmark for Scotland in terms of how to turn round our sport from grassroots level right upto the national side.

The good thing is Ray is getting these boys in for a good trial period, Jackie had them signed before they were over the Tay bridge.

I'm very happy to trust Raymondo on this one I'm sure he'll get the right man/ men to take us forward

First time in a while I've had the old butterflies at tannadice but that was magic tonight to get the win. Defended superbly tonight against a team filled with big units. I'm gonna stick up for Toshney yes the pen was a mistake on his part but he doesn't shirk a tackle and throws his body on the line, there were a few chances they had tonight where he flew at the ball to snuff out the chance. Bell 🔔 is becoming a keeping hero! VDV looked pooped after 40mins and the injection of Murray made a difference later in the game. Magic stuff and a braw start to the weekend

That's a good point however you'd still think the majority of knuckleheads on both sides would stick with the big bigots version 1.

Would absolutely love to see them both fucking off, the league would be so competitive it would really see a boom in attendances IMO

I honestly think we are now away to see Celtic winning EVERY domestic trophy for the next five to seven years. Realistically they should have done this over the past four, but there manager choices were questionable and they never really needed to spend any real money with the other side of their arse being reconstructed after death.

Now they have a seemingly decent manager with a pedigree of working with big budgets at a top 6 side in England they are loosening the purse strings from their CL war chest. This is to counter the other arse cheek being in the same league now.

The Rangers are IMO pulling the big boy routine but haven't got a pot to piss in and will continue to be miles off the pace, each trophy less season that passes the larger the gap will be become through CL money compared to europa league (which they'll struggle to qualify for too)

So how or when will the time come when total domination by only 1 team becomes too much and some sort of leveller is brought into effect??  or am I just being hopeful that one day we might have some actual top flight excitement (including us of course)

Not great viewing but they came with a plan to sit in and frustrate which they did. Shocker of a tackle for the red card. Should have scored more than one goal, but a wins a win. Thought we passed the ball well in the second half and kept trying to do the right things and didn't just turn to pumping aimless long balls as happened all too much last season.

Tope for me had another shocker, don't get what he brings to the team tbh. Apart from that the team played reasonably well. VDS is looking the part now, Big Willie has been solid as fuck tae. Andreu is a cut above at times and flood bossed the midfield battle.

At out best tonight, no. We will need wins like tonight to do well in this league.

Fae Montrose originally there were 3 main options Hun, Tim or Sheep. There was a very small band of Arabs and I started school in 83 so was drawn in by the legendary team and loved the tangerine tops so that was that!

My dad liked hearts (Christ knows why) but wasn't a real supporter of any club which allowed me to chose my own path

Started going to the games when I turned 8 and was hooked fae that first game which was the 1-0 win over the Huns with a ferguson goal which I can still vividly remember to this day.

I love Utd and wouldn't change that for the world, my son of 6 is a season ticket holder with me and I am loving getting him into something that will give him some of the best days of his life, hopefully we can share then together. Took my old man with us for the Raith game a few weeks back and it was 3 generations which filled my heart with joy!
