Other than thon boy in Edinburgh who has security over Tannadice, what other creditors do the club have?

A football club will not go into administration with debts of 1.5 million.
Thompson wants £2million allegedly, he'll never get that with debts of 1.5 million and no sellable assets, as long as he might possibly get half a million for the club he will not enter administration.

The only person with security over Tannadice is Hugh Duncan.
The only other loan that I am aware of is the £200k one that is apparently in the latest accounts and in the absence of any info to the contrary will be unsecured - will need to wait on the accounts going on-line to get more detail

reading this and putting your early comments about buying season tickets looks like like you see administration as acceptable collateral damage if it gets rid off ST. Putting your hatred of Thompson above the wellbeing of the club?

If all Season Ticket holders were to avoid renewing this calendar year, then in round terms the Club would lose £1.5M to £2M quid. That's one hell of a downfall for forward financial planning for next Season, and yes it would hit the Club badly, and completely phuck-up the playing budget for our Manager.
It's playing with fire if you ask me.

2 sponsors are not renewing their deals because of the state if the club and the threat of possible admin which would obviously result in them losing their money.

If any fan doesn't renew because they don't trust Thompson that is their right to do so, too much is being put on the fans it's absolutely scandalous.
We dug deep buying 4000 adult season tickets and big cash gates this season........what has our leader done apart from borrowing more money and not making the needed cuts at Tannadice.
Poor to put a guilt trip on us

Nothing like making stuff up to suit your anti FU agenda
I've never said or hinted I want the club to enter administration to get rid of Thompson.
If fans decide not to buy season tickets can our leader have any complaints given his silence and mismanagement? ????

AP I have no agenda pro or anti FU.
I'm looking at this from a what happens next point of view.
You predicted yourself that admin depends on next years season ticket sales, so what will happen if you persuade enough people to follow your groups example?
I will take your advice and back the team, hopefully a team assembled with a budget that gives us a chance for 2017-18

No tryin to put a guilt trip on you or anybody else plumber. Personally, I dont think I've ever had a bad word to say about you or anybody else on Tek's forum.
Believe it or not, I'm as p1ssed off as you are. I'm sick of it if truth be told. I was just tryin to show the effect it might half if we were all to boycott Season Tickets. We've already got a debt of circa. £1.5M. Just think adding a deficit of another £1.5M wouldna help.

I can't see what FU Facebook says as I've no access to it. Don't do Twitter but can usually view it, maybe I'm doing it wrong.
My introduction to FU is mainly on here and Mad and I'm interested but worried that thousands of potential backers might be put off a potentially good opportunity to back change by a bad 1st impression and argumentative response to Arabs asking questions about FU.
I know good Arabs with opposite opinions on Fridays protest and can't disagree too much with eithers' thinking but worry those not onside with FU so far will become entrenched before on board and put off by nippy replies to reasonable questions.
I'm only talking about TT & Mad as that's all I've access to. I've read stuff about agendas, paranoia about new posters, secret journos etc and whilst everyone is entitled to their opinion I hope the next load of recruitment for FU can Unite, inform and recruit better.
Need to drop the nippy replies and concentrate on moving forward.
This could have started better maybe or maybe the impact is bigger with a controversial introduction. Who knows!?
Clean slate and good link to plan and ideas needed for sure (for me anyway) and conversation to be explored and allowed without putting off Arabs who might well join with insults, put downs and accusations.

Only been to a couple of meetings but I've no idea where you get the 'follow your groups example' from??
One of the guys speaking actually said he hated the word 'boycott' when asked about ST boycott and should be an individuals choice although most were saying they wouldn't be getting one even though they had been a ST holder for 20,30 years.

ok fair enough HH there is no group policy not to buy season tickets. Im looking at what happens next, what do you forsee happening if as you say most of the group dont renew their season ticket.
At best the team will be weaker. Im struggling to see why this will make it more likely that ST will leave

Is ST hanging onto his Chairman role for anything other than cash?? If there is none there, does he have a reason to stay??

Is he not looking for somebody to buy the club off him? if we sell 4000 3000 2000 seasons tickets i dont see how that will hasten his departure , it will make the team worse thats for sure. Is he not here until somebody buys his shares, thats his reason to stay

Hi plumber, are you able to confirm whether 'the state of the club' relates to the running of the club or whether it refers to the league we are playing in?
Cheers pal

Excuse my ignorance (out the loop) but if he isn't taking a wage...how or what cash are you starving him of personally?

I never bought a season ticket this season (first time in 30 years) because I don't like the way Thompson is running the club and I didn't want to give him money upfront as he pisses me off always playing to guilt card, if Thompson sold up tomorrow I would buy two season tickets for next year as soon as his car left the car park.

Yep, that's the point I was getting at - as far as I am aware, and I am more than happy to be corrected on this as I am in no way a financial expert, but if Hugh Duncan and the Thompson clan are the only creditors then surely admin is unlikely?

The Thompson family are not creditors (as far as I'm aware).
As you say the current debt situation makes an insolvency event unlikely imo.
