Weird you posted this Andy.
My 50" plasma went kaput the other day.Still hearing audio but no picture.
That is a great deal but probably outwith my budget just now unless there's an option to pay it up.
Wee heads upto anyone buying yin soon ALWAYS buy Panasonic or Sony.Mines is a Samsung and reading up on my problem online they seem to be cheaply made and are notorious for giving you problems after only a couple of years

TEK, don't know when you had a look but when I posted it was £129, £339 off RRP, mental price for that telly.
Two boys in work bought one.
Like Hunted I would not be allowed a 50" in the hoosem, had to fight to get a 42" when we replaced 32" last year, got away with it becuase the 42 was all screen and our old 32 had a hefty border and massive plastic bit at the bottom so it actually wasn't much smaller than our new one.

Yeah, there were two buying options, the default one was Tesco direct for £129, the Hughes option was £479 or something.

Sold out from Tesco mate so only full price option from that Hughes company now, details below, I forwarded it on to some mates and three bought them, plus two boys in work who sent it to me.
