Hearts vs Celtic

Unless Hearts beat Falkirk and Celtic lose to Motherwell, the league title is gonna come down to the last day (top six last day). Who have you got coming out on top?

For me personally I can’t see Hearts getting anything better than a draw but that’s all they need if they get 3 points on Wednesday.

I have Celtic beating them though and winning the title, which will be heavily disappointing. Although if hearts beat Falkirk and Celtic draw to motherwell it still does come down to the last day, but Celtic would have to likely beat them by 5 or 6.

Re: Hearts vs Celtic

Unfortunately i can see Celtic winning narrowly tomorrow night.

And then beating Hearts on Sunday fairly comfortably.

Re: Hearts vs Celtic

I only want United to win things, so if it's not us, it doesn't matter if it's Rangers or Celtic wining, it doesn't bother me, but a rival winning things stings when it could be us (Not the league, but cups mostly)

Hearts blowing it on the last day again would be glorious, generational heartbreak. Memes for all time.

Fuck them and the way they behaved during our covid promotion when they voted to end the leagues then tried to bar our promotion.

They've also got a right load of wankers in their support that certainly play up to the diet Hun tag.

Hope Blair Spittal volleys the ball off Chemtrail Lawrence's fivehead and it's the goal that seals the title for Celticl

What's the point of the Scottish Premiership if only two teams can win it?

I'm no lover of Hearts, that's for damn sure, but at least their victory would make it feel like there's a point to all this.

Re: Hearts vs Celtic

I totally get what you're saying, it would be the right thing to do for us all to get behind them, but I can't, maybe it's a bit of jealousy, maybe it's just part of a being a football fan is goading the opposition, noising them up, rubbing their faces in their failure.

Celtic lose it this year, both them and Rangers spend bigger in the summer, Rangers will probably be planning to do so anyway, one of those two will then win it next year.

If I thought this would truly be a watershed moment, maybe I could get onboard, but like Leicester, as much as they won it on their own steam, it was because all the rivals had poor seasons.

And it won't matter to Hearts fans if that's the case, same as when Aberdeen spawned the cup v Celtic, memories to last a lifetime.

Maybe if I lived in the west or had friends/family who supported Celtic or Rangers to noise up, or had to live with their constant shite every single day i'd feel different.

I agree with what you are saying also, I am quite jealous of their situation and often think why can’t this be us. I don’t like supporting another team in anyway unless it benefits Utd, and i really don’t like hearts.

I really hated how they have acted all three times Utd have played them this season, constantly diving, sticking their tongues out at our fans. Cammy devlin pushing Dolcek and Halkett pushing Stirton really annoyed me because they benefited from it both times where our players got shown a card and they didn’t even though they started with aggravating our players.

It feels as though they have had a lot of luck this season and I hope they are back where they belong next season, but I do think it would be better for them to win than Celtic as it always seems inevitable that the victims lift the trophy. Something different for scottish football, and could maybe show other teams that they can also achieve something similar.

Re: Hearts vs Celtic

Have I just seen blatant cheating and corruption live on Sky TV at the end of Motherwell v Celtic?
Is it just me or was that never a penalty?

It's corrupt.

Re: Hearts vs Celtic

So in the 10th minute oe added time (there was only 5 minutes announced), the green mouldy b@stards get a Penalty. Wonders never cease.

Re: Hearts vs Celtic

Yup, it’s blatant cheating.

John beatton had one look at it and gave it immediately, you could have written it.

The 'foul' happened within the 5 minutes though, and it's never just bang on the alloted time if the game is up in the air, the ref will allow extra time for any breaks and stoppages.

Re: Hearts vs Celtic

Ken m8. But it only took Beaton 20 secs to look at the VAR screen.

I'm pretty certain the picture you are referring to is AI. If it's the one I'm thinking of that's been doing the rounds.

The path of the ball doesn't deviate at anytime. How could it have hit a stationary hand?

I know.

There are far too many things going on to make me believe was is a random outcome. I realised back in October, Rangers seemed to be getting an infinitely elastic number of additional minutes added on if they were behind or drawing. Naturally there were contentious decisions which went for and against each club, but, if I was a jambo today, I would feel utterly scunnered.

I may have mentioned this before, but, the VAR system is corruptable. Quite simply there is billions being bet on every conceivable outcome of a game by unregulated Chinese betting syndicates. If you are betting on the number of minutes of added time, that will never show up through an online bookmaker. In 2008 I recall a Chinese restaurateur telling me the biggest gamblers in Scottish division 2 games were the Chinese.

You don’t even require collusion. Money would not change hands BTC or any equivalent without a regulated exchange is untraceable.

I really really hope the Jambos win, but, I don’t see it.

I agree mate i thought 100% it wasn’t a pen. It most definitely could be AI.

VAR

I keep banging on about this because NRL (Australian Rugby League is on a different planet to our amatuer hour stuff)
Never done a cut'n paste jobbie so hope  this works:
1/ Winger never looses control of the ball albeit by a pinky finger = try
2/ Winger stays in play albiet by a millimetre = try
3/ Ref in doubt so he goes upstairs to his mate Budgie to make the decision, reviews all camera angles = try.
+ Ref in stadium, gets a feel for whats happened first hand, none of this Clydesdale bank shite.

Bin it.
If we can't for whatever reason do it right, don't do it at all.

Re: Hearts vs Celtic

Half time. How anyone who supports United can be against Hearts winning is incredible to me.

The systemic cheating in favour of the old firm is one of the reasons I have less interest in United these days and football in general. When the game if rigged and there can only be 1 outcome then where is the interest?

Celtic’s penalty against Motherwell was never a penalty. I don’t think the oen they just got is ever a penalty.

If hearts do win the league it will be because the referee didnt get another opportunity to deny them.

Starting to realise we have quite a lot of Timpathisers in our support going by the reaction on X.

Weird.
