At the seasons end,and as yet the club haven't offered him a new deal or entered into any contract negotations with him.

I have to say that surprises me.

Surely we aren't going to let one of our prize assets slip through our fingers?

I have recently realised that United have no real ambition so it isn't surprising me.

Honestly can't believe it's got this close and also know he wouldn't be hard to deal with.

Failing that, was advised today I'll be redundant on 27th so I'll be available.

I'd say Campbell leaving would be a bigger loss than any one of the players who have left in the past year.

Surely the club can't be thinking about letting him go without even offering him a new contract?

Expected confirmation after procedural consultation but, after being cheap option after little service, there's not much to be got.

Sorry to hear that Bugsy, as for Stevie Campbell I just hope the club was waiting till after the transfer window closed to see the finances to give this man a new contract and a raiser that he deserves.

That would be superb, Sieb, then Stevie could be suitably rewarded for his excellent work but, after the last few days, I reckon he could be offered a wage cut.

i know a deal was on the table from us and had heard also a couple of others

hopefully he signs with us though time will tell

Well news seems to be coming out now about him and a few others, so good to hear there is at least movement from within tannadice.
