Ho ho, here we go! Honest to fuck, they were both shite. Smart is my choice though, at least McCulloch actually played some games. All Smart ever did was try to fight everyone, a complete lunatic.
Edit: just noticed there is only 6 games difference. I'm amazed at that. Anytime I saw Smart he got sent off.

You should have done this at Halloween Tek, this is scary reading.
Scott McCulloch. Cost a fortune and was pish pish pish. At least Smarts antics were entertaining.

McCulloch for pretty much the same reasons as bob just gave.

It must have been a mild irrititation to Allan that this fitba malarkey occasionally got in the way of his fighting career with DUFC.Showed incredible levels of consistency at swedgering whilst at Tannadice, the like of which had been previously unseen before or since for that matter. The Hulk Hogan of Scottish Fitba.Or a Scottish Antoine Preget if you prefer.
As bad as Smartie was though,at least we got him on a freezer.
We paid Dunfermline quarter of a mill and gave them Jamie Dolan (who could still have done a job imo) for Scott McCulloch. And all because he scored a free kick against us in a televised match.
The money we pished away on utter dross under Luggy was unreal.Nowadays our fans are freaking out bigtime about the 204k we have to pay for Telfer, and yet 250k on McCulloch and nobody blinked at the time.
McCulloch gets my vote. One of many very expensive flops in the late 90's/early noughties.

Mind watching mculloch at tanny once, standing at the front post, defending a corner, just looking doon at ground in a daze muttering to himself lol...was a total kerthoarse...but gonna hae to vote for Alan smart...was like we hauled him oot a scheme boozer to run aboot like a headless chicken, clocking cunts ...said it countless times..people saying Brian Graham was the worst ever obviously never had the privilege oh watching these Muppets in tangerine

And yet there are still fans who wish for Luggy to return as manager. Unbelievable. Now that we are back on an even keel financially, maybe he can come back and try to bankrupt us all over again.

McCulloch -getting rid of Dolan was a mistake.

Alan Smart only because Scott McCulloch was part of the deal that seen the now deceased Jamie Dolan go and punt the ball to the Halbeath rd. All three were absolutely bowfing but Smertie gets my vote

I liked Dollan tbh.
Had one of the best debuts I can remember v Dunfermline.
Very sad he died so young.
