Dundee United - 2014

Well that's another calendar year done and dusted fitba wise.Favourite moments?

1.Favourite Moment - Nadir celebrating before he even scores infront of 10,000 delirious Arabs in the Broomloan Stand.

2.Favourite Goal - Stuart Armstrong's goal in the aforementioned 3-1 win at 'neutral' Ibrox. The noise the post made as the ball crashed off it and intae the net was almost sexual IMO.

3.Favourite home win - Defeating Celtic 2-1 last week.

4.Favourite away win - Fucking smashing the Dee 1-4.

5.Favourite player of 2014 - Nadir Ciftci

6.High point of 2014 - Definitely defeating The Rangers 3-1 on their own patch.Have never felt intimidation like that towards our club/support in 25+years of supporting Utd.Felt like a defining moment for our generation of Arabs winning that game.

7.Low Point of 2014 - Losing the Cup Final and tbh,not really turning up on the day.A day to forget.

What's your fave DUFC moments of 2014?Feel free to add others btw.

Re: Dundee United - 2014

1) Fojut's header In to the shed v them. sickened that horrible lot.

2) putting Fojut as number 1, so number 2 for me was Erskine's up at pittodire. went nuts. really hammered those bastards big time.

3) Between the derby cup win and Celtic, Celtic just.

4) Aberdeen away 3-0, the 4-1 at dense was fun but I cannot fucking stand those sheep bastards.

5) Nadir. while he gets sometmes unfair stick, we'd be fucked without him.

6) winning the semi at ibrox. really upset a lot of people that day, cunts. great day.

7) cup final. no more said.

Re: Dundee United - 2014

1.Favourite Moment - Nadir-Rangers

2.Favourite Goal - All of ours are equal billing to be honest- my favourite was Hamilton's 10th v Morton -which put the shitters up our neighbours when they thought they already done enough

3.Favourite home win - Completely dominating Motherwell and St Mirren but Fojut's header v the Fun sorts this one out.

4.Favourite away win - enjoyed 3-0 to St Mirren earlier this season and so sorry i missed 5-0 ICT in the cup (fucking weddings) and tubbing Hibs 3-1 in Feb -although watched this in a boozer in London  which was full of Hibs fans-they got it tight

5.Favourite player of 2014 - Nadir Ciftci

6.High point of 2014 - Going debt free.

7.Low Point of 2014 - Losing the Cup Final and the tailing off at the end of last season in general.

Oh, what came of the things we once believed?

Re: Dundee United - 2014

High point: The Derby win at Dens

Low point: The Cup final loss to St Johnstone

Most memorable moment: Watching the Dens Rd Exodus Part 2

Player of 2014: Erskine for the way he battled against the boos

Goal of 2014: Mario Bilate v Motherwell

Goal Celebration of 2014: Yoda in the ET lower in the same game. He vanished afterwards and has never returned to my knowledge. Please let me know if you see him on Thursday just to settle any nerves. May the force be with you United

Hear their shout, hear their roar

Re: Dundee United - 2014

=16px1.Favourite Moment - Nadir v Sevco

=16px2.Favourite Goal - Armstrong v Motherwell after split Great counter attacking

=16px3.Favourite home win - Missed the Celtic game. So going to go with the 3-2 win v St Mirren. 2 nil down with 15 to go. Nads scored in injury time to win 3-2

=16px4.Favourite away win - Dens. FUN giving it "we're undefeated" etc

HAMMERED

=16px5.Favourite player of 2014 - Ciftci

=16px6.High point of 2014 - Losing great players again and still managing to keep being cometitive
=16px7.Low Point of 2014 - Cup Final although I was at hospo and had a great chat before the game to 2 old pros who told me a few good stories about McLean. Both total gents so that is something positive to take from the game.

Re: Dundee United - 2014

Cant put nadirs ibrox goal as mine as watched it on the rig and woke the nightshift boy up next door when he rounded the hun to send us through..

for me would then be Fojuts header against the gymnastics.
low has to be the cup final. Less said the better
