Future Q&A's

Just to keep everyone up to date, things are still happening behind the scenes at Tekel Towers to try and get more Q&A's for the forum.

I know they are very popular and provide a lot of insight with the person, and the banter is usually high and good natured.

We do have someone lined up after the New Year, I will let TEK announce it on the board when things get more concrete with a time and date etc. So far here is the people we have approached....

Yes:
Stevie Campbell

Sieb Dijkstra

And, all things willing, **** ******

Sadly Declined:
Robbie Winters

Charlie Miller

Kjell Olofsson

Erik Pedersen

And this guy...

He refuses as he currently has a restraining order over a stalker here on this forum

We are still just scratching the surface, but if there is anyone that you would like us to try and get for upcoming Q&A's then please just let TEK or myself know, and we will ask away and try our best to get them on here.

Or if you have any contact details of anyone that we could ask, you can private message TEK or myself again with the information and we will be discreet with the information. But if you are on friendly terms with anyone that would be good for the Q&A's already then you can ask yourself, then just send a message to TEK to let him know.

Hopefully we can get a few more in our Tekel Towers Hall of Fame for 2015.

Re: Future Q&A's

My personal Q&A wish list would include Jim McLean and Steven Thompson, but realistically I would love:

Davie Bowman (think he would have good stories and good banter).
Craig Brewster (cult hero II)
and Paul Sturrock (aka Lugmeister!)

I know Luggy posts on UTD Mad and done a Q&A there, but half of it was guys spamming it saying "prove your the real Paul Sturrock" etc, and there doesnt seem to be a private message function on there, so I cant message and ask him. Luggy doesnt seem to be on Facebook or Twitter either to approach. And I wouldnt want to start any shite or bad blood with any other guys on the other boards by having the audacity to ask him outright on their forum.

Re: Future Q&A's

Great work Sieb. Look forward to whoever you can get. Think Tommy McLean is on Twitter, don't know how much he uses it. Kevin Gallagher is also.

Re: Future Q&A's

Kevin Gallagher would be a good one, could see him being approachable going by his persona.

Couple of other guys from the 80's teams like Jim McInally or Billy T would be good and interesting, should have a few stories.

Re: Future Q&A's

They are fantastic. TBH I'm kind of glad Charlie Miller didn't happen. He was decent for United but he didn't cover himself in glory during the whole Rangers death thing. I would have struggled not take him to task over it.

Yeah yeah Industrial Estate

Re: Future Q&A's

Charlie Miller never actually declined.Infact he messaged me on 2 seperate occasions insisting he would do a Q+A.but over the course of 3 weeks he postponed once at that last minute and i found him very hard to pin down to a day/time.So i just ceased communication with him and left it there.

Both Stevie Campbell and Sieb Dijkstra were not only first class to deal with but were also quite flattered to be asked in the first place. That's what me and Sieb22 are after.Utd employees and ex players who show the club and support the respect and affection it deserves.Even if it is years since they departed.

Siebby has one Q+A potentially set-up in the New Year which would be a good 'un.

Details to follow as soon as we know more.
