Go and get Holt back.

Agyei sending off completely fucked us. Motherwell controlled it after that. We played like the derby, absolutely huffed and puffed. Nothing but shite for 75 minutes. If it wasn’t for Jack Walton, it would’ve finished 5-0.
Saturday we finished our chances but we need a goalscorer in, i just don’t see where we’re gonna score many goals from.

It's nights like tonight where i really do question why i even bother still watching this sport. What is the fucking point, honestly? I just feel angry most weeks watching our games.
Stonewall penalty turned down for a clear barge on Merghem. Not even VAR checked.
Five minutes later Agyei straight red for his first challenge, which whilst late was just a player mistiming his challenge on a wet and slippery pitch. Agyei himself had been fouled three times by this point with no protection and later in the game their player Palmer-Houlden makes a very similar challenge (late low sliding tackle that hurts Camara's ankle). Yellow card. Absolutely sick of it.
Game over after the red card, essentially, as they are a very good team and have quality all over the pitch. Tbqh even with 11 we would have struggled.
We simply must sign a Right Back and Striker tomorrow at a minimum. The money is clearly there given the Brad Spencer bids, so there's no excuses not to recruit these positions. It would be utter folly not to.
Saturday already feels like a must win game if we are to have a good season.
Perhaps a little bit of clarity on the Jim Goodwin situation would be wise form the club also. Not in terms of disclosing his health problems of course, but if he has to have an extended period of absence then just tell the fans that and perhaps bring in help in terms of another coach even on an interim basis.
My player ratings on a miserable night in North Lanarkshire -
Walton 8 - Excellent tonight and kept us in the game a lot longer than we should have been.
Rawlins 4 - Genuinely awful. Longelo tore him to pieces. He's in no way the answer.
Esselink 6 - Worked hard. Once again not bad considering the goals we are shipping. Could possibly have got closer to his man for their 1st goal.
Forbes 6 - Not at fault for anything, but i'm just not sure about him.
Ferry 5 - Seems to be either brilliant or poor this season with no in between. Hopefully he's still a United player this time tomorrow night, that said. Worrying he signalled he wanted off as soon as he went down.
Camara 6 - A hard shift in midfield minus Agyei. Thought he done quite well considering.
Agyei 4 - Very harsh red. We'll be without him now for the next 2 games unless United appeal it and win the appeal. Doubtful.
Yoro 5 - Was always gonna be the sacrifical lamb the minute we went down to 10. After the excitement and hype about this signing it's all felt anti-climatic, so far.
Merghem 7 - Looked positive again and our best player in an attacking sense. Yet, first to go off. Baffling, as it wasn't a tactical sub and was instead like for like.
Sapsford 4 - I've lost patience with him. Jogs about at 5mph and just looks knackered and slow. Here's a question for you. When was his last good game for United? Been poor for several months. It can no longer be about home sickness, lack of form, confidence or anything else. He's playing well below the standard he is capable of.
Bennie 6 - Was 'ok'. Couple of nice long passes, needs his final ball to improve big time though. I do think there's a player in him, but he needs to start showing more end product, starting Saturday.
Subs -
Rose 4 - Barely touched the ball. One nice pass to Ciubotaro, that was his entire contribution.
Ciubotaro 6 - Hard to judge him, as yet. Thought he was 'ok'. Should probably have scored the chance he had, but was good to see him at least getting forward and being positive. Might get a game on Saturday.
Tait 5 - Poor, again.
Farrugia 5 - No idea what he is supposed to bring to the table. Been here 9 months and no goals, no assists. What is even his best position? Does he have one?
Randall 5 - Anonymous.

Was/is Metsoko injured? Outside of Dalby we must’ve signed some of the most ineffective strikers the league has seen in recent years. Sapsford is semi decent but we definitely need more up front. Rose? Metsoko? Randall? All looking pretty pish so far.

Agyei is either a phuckin eejit, or phuckin unlucky. We'll just had to wait and see if there's an appeal and how it goes.
But how is it that when other teams go doon to 10 men, they phuckin battle to try and get at least something fae the gehm, but we just gift goals.
Did we just sink after the sending aff, or did we just go to Motherwell expecting to get baet. Beginning to wonder what the hell is going on.

We looked ok(ish) up until he was sent off. We got the substitutes wrong and the shape wrong and really struggled against a very decent team.

Watching the warm-ups, Motherwell would get in formation at the halfway line, then play forward with the end result of a shot. Fast paced and one touch football. Quite impressive. Back to front.

I would love to see Utd play the way Motherwell do.
I’m sick and tired of Jack kicking it long for our small strikers to be beaten constantly in the air.

Reflecting on the games we've lost the common denominator in the goals conceded is that opposition attackers have had complete freedom to get into positions 30 yards from goal. Then they get to choose which pass is best to lay on for their goal. Our midfield 3 are not doing enough to stop that.
In games where we are facing strong opposition we need to be giving the back 4 better protection and if that means a change of formation just do it.
I've lost a lot of faith in Agyei and Camara. The one man who provided at least bite and aggression in there has been sold.
But if Rawlins can't stop a cross, gets done for pace and won't put his body down in the box we are f***d.
