The conveyor belt was apparently broken according to an ex youth coach/talent spotter I knew well around 3 years ago. He was convinced that the system that previously worked was broken and the future was bleak, albeit he'd not long since parted ways with our club, so his usually valid opinion and predictions were to be questioned. I was a wee bit worried at the time, not now. Whats changed if anything, and who is the next big success?

A most exciting positional prospect being able to play across the front line positions. Great shout bud.

If Butcher doesn't claim Pate's position and/or Pate's leaves it open again I can see Darren Petrie getting a chance ahead of any incomer. Already trusted to play in the first team v the sheep earlier this season.
