I watched the St J v Killie game and I thought their new pitch looked bobbly and sticky. Ours looked to be playing great. Not sure whether the Rangers player scuffed up the corner flag area before taking the corner because the commentator said something about the groundsman being unhappy with what he did.
Watching the game, Assguard was taking a corner, he either twisted his standing foot, or the grass gave way at that point. It had been raining and that corner was always problematic.
Noticed what looked like the Rangers player scooping grass/earth from the corner flag just before he took a corner near the end of the game

It looked like he ripped up the turf to position the ball for the corner and didn’t fix the turf.

Players do that all the time. Create a wee divot so the ball will sit still if it's a bit windy.
Was alarming how much turf came up. Didn't look like it took much at all for the turf to come up.
