Correct.

And would probably mean United would be forced to accept a lesser bid than the 1.7M they were offered from the Czech side. As there's no way will Celtic pay that. But i'd be willing to put good money on Parkhead being his likely destination. The two MLS sides seemed to have cooled their interest and there has been nothing from England at all.

None of us will ever find out the fee (well unless we can be bothered to scrutinise the next published accounts).

Seen a few people saying we'll get less than the 1.7m we accepted previously. Don't understand why people think that way.

Neither do I, some folk wanted us to ship him off to America weeks ago for under half the bid from the Czechs. It seems some folk will only be happy if the club has no money at all. I say sell him for what he's worth or run down his contract if thats what he prefers to do. Giving him away on the cheap just tells clubs to come and pillage our club because we bend over at the first sign of cash.

If you’re referring to me, what I said at the time was; I wouldn’t be accepting a move to to the Czech Republic if I thought I had the opportunity to move to LA were I to bide my time. And I was proven correct in thinking that, cause he turned the move down.

Nowhere in there did I say want him shipped off to America at half price just to spite Mark Ogren, you fucking oddball.

The simple fact is that Celtic absolutely can afford to pay £1.8million for a player. They do it all the time, so Capuano and Ogren (who are not season ticket holders at Celtic) should tell Celtic you can have the player if he wants to come to you but the fee is £1.8 million. Puts phone down.

Who gives a fuck who Goodwin supports? He's Irish. Chances are he'd support one of those two. We beat them twice last season. He gets some stick across these forums. Some of it deserved, some of it completely unfair. And the Celtic fan stuff is the latter.

I’ve done this to death, but here goes….

The manager of Albion Rovers or East Kilbride can go support whoever he wants, no one would bat an eyelid…. The Dundee United manager however, shouldn’t be going and supporting Celtic in his downtime. I’m all for subjectivity, but in this instance, any opinion to the contrary is wrong.

I’m sure they’re the team he’s grown up supporting, and I take no issue with that, everyone supports somebody. But while you’re the leader and face of a major Premiership club, your support of another club in the division should not leave your front door.

We all know Derek McInnes is a Rangers man. Do you think he’d have thought it okay to go sit in the away end when Rangers were at Dens or at Fir Park last season? Do you think the Hearts fans would’ve thought it was okay?

As I’ve said before, standards and pride amongst sections of our support are in the fucking gutter with some of the stuff that people accept now.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 26/27

No matter what Ferry goes for, whether it's 1.8m or 900k, none of that filter down into the 1st team, all we 'might' see is his wages being freed up.

So with that in mind, i'd rather he went for a smaller fee abroad than having him play against us, but it'll likely be his decision and he might just fancy playing where the decks are massively loaded in their favour as they shoot fish in a barrel.

Live in and around Glasgow with all the shite that comes with being attached to one of the arsecheeks, or earn the same or more money playing in a foreign country where the food, beer, weather, women, standard of living will better. No-brainer for me.

But on the other hand, he might fancy racking up a few medals, which when won so freely, are up there will milk bottle tops.

Someone at the club should pull him aside and tell him in no uncertain terms that it’s not fucking on.

I would punt him if we fail to get out the group stages on Saturday however. That would be one too many cup competitions he’s made a cunt of for my liking.

I’m taking that to mean Eskesen’s likely to leave, as Yoro’s an attacking midfielder.

Shame, I think there’s a player there in Eskesen, and this formation suits him a lot better. I hope we’re not doing this to get a shiny new toy.

We're a Dylan Tait muscle pull away from another media outcry over our line-up v the Huns.

And whilst I understand that there's more value in the markets we're shopping in, there's no value at all if they
can't deliver.

We don’t seem to have learned our lesson from last season in terms of the main issue being a lack of experience in key areas. If anything we’ve went even younger and less experienced, apart from the keeper. This worries me.

We’ve also continued to worsen our homegrown/British quota, which, not to come off all Farage here, almost definitely contributed to our issues last season. Sibbald’s been replaced by Tait and Richards has been replaced by Jack Walton, but Stephenson, Russell, Strain (Only qualifies for Australia because he lived there for 5 years) & soon to be Ferry have all been replaced by non-domestic players. Forbes being the only other Brit we’ve signed.

I sincerely hope someone knows what they’re doing.

He isn't supporting Celtic, he's taking his young lad who DOES support Celtic to watch his team, what's the problem with that, he also gets to watch two teams we have to play against.

The problem’s still the same as it always has been, he’s seen sitting in the away end of a club in the same league as us. Have you never told your kids no before? At the end of the day, it’s Dundee United supporters that allow Jim Goodwin to put presents under his son’s Christmas tree, not Celtic’s.

Would Jim McLean have taken his son to watch Rangers if he asked his Dad to take him to Ibrox? Of course he fucking wouldn’t. Because there were standards at the club back then, with managers, board members and amongst the supporters. No one seems to bother anymore.

But as you said yourself, things change if Ferry decides that's where he wants to go.

If Celtic decide they only want to pay half of what the Czech side did, then do Utd?

1) Keep hold of an unhappy player for the last year of his contract?
2) Let him leave for nothing next Summer?

Now i would like to think we would do both in that scenario.

But we won't.

Ferry is already gone. Him being stripped of Vice Captain cemented that for me.

The only question now is for how much (again, we won't find out the fee). And the player holds all the power here.
