Very quiet tonight regarding the game.
Thought we played much better than last week, albeit created very little upfront.
The penalty Kilmarnock got awarded an utter disgrace. KK clearly wins the ball with his head and his momentum takes him into Bruce Anderson, though contact is severely minimal and shouldn't be considered a foul anywhere on the pitch. This is still a contact sport after all.
That the referee wasn't even called over to the monitor to review the decision is mind blowing.
No doubt we'll get the usual 'sorry' from Willie Collum during the week, but this isn't good enough. We are getting done by poor decisions regularly now. Also laughable that they spent a good 5 minutes looking at anything they could to overturn our stonewall penalty. But Killie's non-penalty review over in under a minute. A bloody disgrace the officiating in this country.![]()
Thought Ross Graham and Max Watters (his penalty aside) done fine in their first match in months.
We lost our way a bit in fact when Watters and Sapsford got subbed off. Disappointing that for the umpteenth game in a row our subs made us weaker rather than stronger.
No idea what Owen Stirton has to do to get some game time btw. Either at Utd or Airdrie. Absolutely bizarre way to treat the lad.
Finally on Dave Richards. Thought he done ok. His kicking is good and he was unlucky with their penalty.
Tough game on Wednesday where we will have to be at our best to get anything. I'd love to see us going back to being the team we were in the Summer and really believing in ourselves going forward. Looked rather powderpuff in the final third again today and that was a disappointment.
But to end on a positive, the backline looked much more organised and the Keeper was fine. Something to hopefully build on.

3 JG made the changes he needed to
4 what's the point of VAR.
