A slap in the face to DUTV subscribers who pay £17 a month regardless.
I'm happy that UK fans have the option to watch on Solid Sport but the irony and double whammy here is that Solid Sport won't be available to overseas viewers.
United are normally pretty good to the fans but this is really bad from United.

For the Strassen games, United can't just decide to show them. There are strict UEFA rules around broadcasting and media companies always get first refusal, in this case G.4.1 states that in the Conference League clubs may exploit live rights in an country only in the event that such rights have not been acquired by a UEFA media partner.
That doesn't apply to the friendlies obviously.

Putting the Oldham game on Solid Sports is a complete pisstake for overseas subscribers to DUTV. It's a f###in insult. I pay £17 monthly for DUTV but they want another £8 to watch a home friendly?
Not even going to bother emailing Mark McCreery.
F##k off with that.

That’s an insult to all overseas Arabs who loyally support the club.

Got 6 for my group today because i wanted to sit next to a couple of my pals who aren’t season ticket holders.
Top tier of the ET. Not been up there since Shankland & Appere scored in the 2-2 with Hibs in the Scottish cup live on BBC.

Wouldn't be upset with that but surely Camara starts ahead of Svelj? For this fixture..

The Courier reports a preliminary draw this morning that puts us against the seeded ties.
Which is the softer of the two groups I think.
But first things first, we have to bulge the net.
Online!
Nobody should be even looking at the draw for the next round.
We have a difficult tie ahead of us with a brand new untested team.
Getting through a round in Europe is something we haven't done for 28 years.

I know a couple of lads that are going to book flights to both potential opponents when the draw is made today, then they are going to try and cancel one of the flights once we know the opponent.
They reckon the saving is worth the risk.

A lot of tough ties in there. Avoiding the teams from rounds 1,2,3 would probs be out best chance. Rapid, Istanbul, and Tiraspol are all teams you seem to see kicking around the latter stages of CL qualification in the last 20 or so years that subsequently get knocked in to the UEFA Cup more often than not.
Maybe not Europe's elite, but decent budgets and a good number of experienced players that we'd be best avoiding should we go through.

Rapid Vienna (most likely)
Or Decic
If we get through

We've beat Rapid Vienna before, so shouldn't go into any potential game in fear.
But....
First and foremost. Let's just beat Una Strassen first.

Rapid Vienna are 3/10 for the away leg on Thursday so Decic must be pretty sh!te.
We're 4/9 for the home leg on Thursday so not a cake walk by any manner or means.
RV too hot to handle I fear.
That's if we get through.

Oh, come on Tek,
That was 1984 with a legendary team. We reached the Semis of the European Cup, that year. We lost 2-1 in Hutteldorf then managed a 1-0 win at home.
It will be a brilliant away trip irrespective to the result.
Was anyone there (Hutteldorf) in 1984?
