David Dickenson

What's the deal with this guy?

I think this guys for the watching fellow Arabs and deserves a wee discussion thread for the next time we unfortunately need to endure his complete nonsense.

Last three games he refereed against us.

St Mirren away Saturday 11th January.

A complete nonsense of a penalty award in injury time that amazingly wasn't overturned.

Kilmarnock away 25th January

Somehow he managed to let Watkins smash into Walton and go unpunished.

Hibernian 26th February

An all round nonsense of a performance topped off by a mystifying disallowed goal.

Let's keep an eye on this fuckin clown.

Re: David Dickenson

The officiating was undoubtedly terrible last night, no question there.

However I believe the screen was broken, so while Dickinson did initially rightly allow the goal, it was the VAR team who didn't, after their lengthy review.

As the screen was broken, I'm not sure what the protocol is, if VAR tell him they have reviewed it and there is clear and obvious evidence of an error (but he can't see it himself), I presume he has to accept their word, but maybe someone else can confirm.

A terrible decision, but for me the blame sits in the VAR studio, less so the ref.

Agree about the calamity around the goal but his all round performance was once again shocking.

One for the watching.

Just spoke with an extremely close m8 who's a Ref in the Lowland League. From the horse's mouth "The protocol is, if the VAR Lineside Monitor is defective, the Match should be played without VAR".

Re: David Dickenson

He was ref for the opening day Derby too, I’m sure.

We should’ve been given a penalty that day. Don’t want to go all Celtic here, just adding it to the list

And was the ref for the Kilmarnock goal where Watkins impedes Walton. Ask yourself if that's a Celtic or Rangers goalkeeper is that goal being given? No chance.

This has all happened since Walton wiped out a St Mirren attacker, saw yellow, trial by West Coast media said it should have been red, decided we'd had several fortunate VAR decisions in our favour. Then we pulled out of the KMI panel. They're not happy with us. We're definitely getting cheated. That one last night was absolutely blatant cheating.

Re: David Dickenson

He wasn’t actually at fault for the Dalby goal because he gave it. It was that **** McDermid in the VAR room who chalked it off.

Where he did make an arse of it was giving a goal kick when it was clearly a corner and then they go up the pitch and score. There was no way on this earth that it was ever a goal kick.
