First Utd goal i ever saw in the flesh was a Bannon free-kick, right into the top corner against Airdrie. Ball seemed to float goal wards in slow motion, can still picture it CA.
Incredible that i can remember that from 40 years ago, but i couldn't tell you what i had for dinner last night.
In terms of the best Utd debut goal, i've racked my brain and can't recall a better one.

Mario Bilate vs Motherwell would be up there but it would only have been his home debut if that counts.

I'm no website expert but am I right in saying our official one is utter shite inasmuch as it doesn't contain the name of a single player at any level?
You could say it's because squads aren't yet settled but I think you'll find every other team in the land incl Junior clubs have full bios on every player, 1st team, reserves, U/18, women. Us? Not a single name & even when they do get round to it there is precious little to look at if previous seasons are to go by.
Anyone looking up Brandan Forbes will still be looking.

It's amazing the number of times I have heard of people offering to do something to assist the club, free of charge and they don't even have the courtesy to respond to say thanks but no thanks.
I've heard of people offering to help sort out the technical side of things to improve the live streaming of games/highlights, people offering to do commentary or produce content for the socials, web-design, graphic design and so on.
For a club that is constantly pleading poverty, they don't seem to keen to accept help from people who have the best interest of the club at heart.
Oooooohhhh yeeeeeaaaaaah!!
