Think it’ll be
Richards
Sevelj Gallagher Graham
Strain odonnell sibbald ferry
Fotheringham watt trapanovski
Offline
Walton
Sevelj Gallagher Graham
Strain sibbald grimshaw Ferry
Fotheringham Watt Middleton
not the preferred XI id want but have a feeling goodwin is going to persist with the formation while trying to get most players involved as it seems like this is being treated as a pre season rather than the start of competitive football

Not a clue what sort of team we will field and I don't think he can mess about too much.
I feared that some would be right on his back the minute we got a poor result and performance. Both of those occurred on Saturday and most of the criticism has been justified.
The middle of the park clearly is a massive weak point at present and something needs done pronto. Disappointed we haven't at least got one in the door in that position.
More pace, energy and fight please.

What's our lowest attendance for a home game?
Just had a look online and there can't be anymore than a few hundred sold.

I think we’ll get 2.5K at most tomorrow.

They have their biggest ever League win against us, 9-2 in 1937, and they beat us in the 95/96 Challenge Cup Final.
We should pack out Tannadice tonight as we seek revenge.

Looking at online sales, doubt the crowd will be any more than 1641.
In the current climate, £15 for a friendly v 3rd tier opposition just isn't palatable.

Captain out injured and the vice captain starts on the bench for the second game in a row🤔

A good first 60 mins and then back to some slow pedestrian football once we made a few subs and introduced a few handbrakes.
Both Macedonians look the part and another decent 90 for Ferry.
Don't like the look of Stains injury.

Much better, both Macedonians impressed and I like the look of Ferry too. Think we desperately need another striker, Moult is so slow and Watt once again looks totally disinterested.

I think a right wing back will take priority if Strains injury is as bad as it looked.
We are also heavily reliant on Sibs in the middle who played very well tonight however an injury or suspension to him and we are playing Grimshaw.

Both Macedonians looked good, back three was better, ferry gonna be fun to watch, strain injury a complete disaster- Thomson will be a good RWB though.
One sour thing for me tonight- Middleton and watts attitude when they both came on was a disgrace, fucking seeek fed up of players quite clearly throwing the toys out the pram, both will be on a hefty wage at us and to put in a performance so lazy and completely uninterested is so frustrating- not the first time both of them have done something like this.

Agree with all of the above.
Tony Watts body language tonight was terrible. We may be back to square one with him

All the new signings look good players and certainly improve the team. Hopefully Goodwin can get a few more in as the drop off in performance when Middleton & Watt came on was very noticeable.

Sevelj lack of height worries me for a central defender in scottish football, he played the last 25 minutes tonight in central midfield, that might be a better option.
Some positives tonight, although it's hard to judge against that level of opposition. Trapanovski looked good, and I thought both wing backs were playing well before the strain injury.
Owen Stirton effort off the bar was unlucky.

Goodwin says it’s a hamstring issue for Ryan Strain

In a caravan in Ayrshire with dodgy Wifi reception so decided to go a walk along the beach front in Troon rather than follow intermittent Twitter updates (United weren't PPV the game for some reason).
Good to hear both Macedonian lads look decent. Always a worry when you sign players from a different culture, but both these lads speak excellent English and both speak very well actually. I have a good feeling about both.
That is a pisser about Strain. A lot of St.Mirren fans did say that although he's a good player he does seem to pick up his injuries. Fingers crossed he isn't out too long. Said before but if there is only a budget for say another 3 signings then there's no way we should be signing another RWB before attacking players. We will just need to take the injury on the chin and persevere with Thomson and Grimshaw.
We desperately need another Striker, preferably one that's good in the air and will get on the end of Trapanovski's crosses. I'd ideally like two Strikers tbh. One physical, one with pace (or ideally one that has both i.e. a young Noel Hunt).
At the moment i struggle to see where the goals will come from in the Prem, sadly.
I'd put Watt and MacLeod out on loan (hearing both have a shit attitude). Keep young Stirton as a sub and give him cameos at the end of games when we can. He seems to have overtaken MacLeod. If anyone is willing to take Middleton i'd let him go too. And try and get another winger in. Feels like a lot of movement still needs to happen this Window. Worth remembering we offloaded a lot of players in May (18). Signed seven, but really only six as Walton was already here. We have a very light squad. Particularly from middle to front.
Huge match against Ayr on Saturday. Whoever wins it will possibly win the group.

From what i'm hearing he's not injured.
I genuinely don't know why he's not featuring btw. But was told it's not injury related.

If it’s gonna be a long term injury though, we’ll have to think about finding someone who can play RWB, most likely a loan deal. I defo wouldn’t be trusting Grimshaw to play there, or anywhere else.
Hearing the same about MacLeod having a stinking attitude, which is baffling for a boy who couldn’t even cut it at Forfar or put in an even slightly memorable cameo off the bench for us. Oh well, he’ll end up in juniors soon enough. I seen more from Stirton tonight than I’ve ever seen MacLeod offer us, so I’d imagine he’s now ahead of him in the pecking order. Send him out on one more loan to see if there’s anything there, if, as is likely given his anonymous showings throughout his career so far, he shows nothing, then he’ll find himself ripping up the Midlands amateur league soon.

We are certainly a much better team when he in it, whatever the issue hopefully he back on the pitch sooner rather than later.
We definitely need another body in, someone in the to push Sibs on.
RWB position I feel will need strengthening, I'm no physio or doctor but it never looked to me as if it was Strains hammy that went.

Much better than Saturday, against much poorer opposition right enough. The Macedonians both look good, think they could be very good players once up to speed. Given he's been on the bench for both games, I wonder if Watt has been told by Goodwin he's going to be a bench-warmer this season and he's taken the huff.
