Dundee's worst kept secret is official.
Supposed ringleader of the Ross ejecting clique rewarded despite throwing our season into disarray. Can only hope he has Fat Tone next in his sights....at least he'll have to turn up to training now.
Joking apart, I can't see how this makes much difference. He's clearly been coaching the team whilst playing and this will therefore make little difference. That said we could clearly be doing with him being fit and on the pitch to return some sort of stability to our poor defence. Also, I assume that this was part of the deal to get him to come back in the first place. Poor Foxy hasn't realised that he'll need to be jettisoned shortly to make way for Fletcher's coaching career.

Good solid appointment and glad to see the Board have blocked out the background noise from some of the more vocal "fans" on Twitter.

They don't block out the fans. They simply ignore them and treat them with contempt. Which, as you know breeds contempt. Just as well they are doing so well in running our beloved club....into the ground.

When he signed in 2021 it was stated he'd become part of the coaching team, not sure why everyone is surprised by this, it was always on the cards.

Regardless of your views, take a look at the league table, look at the amount of money spent on recruitment and perhaps even you can understand why some are so annoyed.
It may come good but it's a much bigger struggle then it ever should have been

Just the next step in him becoming our next head coach.
