MOTM for me Glass.

Totally agree, we were all saying this and have been for several matches now. Constant phuking passing the ball backwards, sometimes from well up the oppositions half and it ends up back at oor goalie. I mean what the actual fuk is that “strategy” about ? Has to be coming from Tam that. Stupidity and so negatively boring. Sort it out please.

The one big positive and shining light yesterday - Declan Glass. Great shift from the young man. Well done.

Re: Utd v Livi - Saturday 11th December

We were very poor on the whole, but so were Livi.  0-0 would have been a fair result.  Thon ref, fuck me.   he gives a foul AGAINST Harkes in the 1st half when the Livi defender gets his body between him and the ball on the edge of the box, then gives them a pen when Fuchs does exactly the same thing.

Re: Utd v Livi - Saturday 11th December

Yeah, Glass performance very encouraging,

Re passing the ball back. We had a free kick in the 2nd half on about the halfway line. Looked like Mulgrew was going to launch into a packed 18-yards.  A square ball & then a backpass & the ball was with Siegrist.
I turned to my mate and said, 'that canna be right'.

Yeah I'm sure Gavin Duncan got the Harkes incident wrong. I don't know what he was thinking about. He was having a bad game, body language not good.

A few folks blaming the ref for the result, and yeah he wasn't great, but we had zero meaningful attempts on goal. That's all that matters.

Correct.

This and the obsession with always playing the ball out from the back. The fuck up with their penalty came from Siegrist passing the ball out to Fuchs in a tight area.

In our relegation season Mixu made our young Goalies do this for a spell to the full backs and it was a disaster.

Sometimes you just need to smash the ball up the park.

We need one or two tall players in January. One's who can fucking head the ball.

Re: Utd v Livi - Saturday 11th December

Same pish as the last few games.

Glass played very well he just ran out of puff at the end.

The players look very low in confidence which is evident when we get a throw in, nobody want it and we ultimately end up give it to the opposition time and time again.

Substitutions yesterday 5 mins for the 2 lads, whats that all about?

when will we score a goal again🤷‍♂️

Re: Utd v Livi - Saturday 11th December

Harkes keeps that one under the bar & we win 1-0.
THOU SHALT NOT LOSE THE FIRST GOAL.

Tbf though Niskanen near the end, wrong side of post...

Aye yer right Smeds. LIvi didna look like scoring fae open play either.

We were doon to 5th for 24 oors, but the minks slender 1-0 win over the Well has put us back up to 4th on Goal difference, Its time for a perty. (oh I mean gathering).

Talking of 5 and 24 Billy how on earth can you pick up 5 points out of 24 & never budge out of 4th place in the league??

I don't think we have any chance tomorrow. We are bereft of confidence, creating absolutely nothing, and leaking goals at the back. It's a really depressing time.

It'll be 1-0 Livi and our slip into the bottom four continues.

Gosh, crack the champagne, let's have a party!!

Bottoms up.

Fair do's AU, obviously can't argue with your correct score prediction but you do realise that your ultra-negative post took 1,000 off the gate.

P.S. What's next week's score? I'll go for 4-0.
P.P.S. For the first time in years I didn't even go to the pub after the game

Re: Utd v Livi - Saturday 11th December

Trip to Ibrox on Saturday. I’d like to see us do a Livi and sit 11 men behind the ball and camp in our own half. Kick every ball and man.

Benji

Freeman (if he’s fit)
Mulgrew
Edwards
McMann

Niskannen
Harkes
Fuchs
Glass
Pawlett

Clark

No trying to play football stuff, it’s nice on the august and September surfaces but right now it’s about getting tough again and back to fighting ways.

No change there then Roger.
Appere worth another start?
Was very pleased with Glass's performance, this is what we need.
Jeando, behave yourself.
