McNulty has scored goals for bigger teams than United. He's played one season with us in a fairly dysfunctional team, mostly out of position and this season he's already played up front in 3 different formations with countless supporting players. The fascination to be the first ones to shoot him down and say he's shite is just baffling.

Although i'm assuming it's probably the same folk that were still calling Benji shite at the start of last season or those that said that Fuchs was over rated after his form dipped for about 2 or 3 weeks.

His record does show he's obviously a confidence player but one that if you get it right, can be very good. He had too much time to think about the chance on Saturday i think but we're ultimately the width of the post away from being level on points with Celtic and him being the hero this week.

Don't know if you want me agreeing with you Lilley old boy but nevertheless I must!

Agree with most Shakey apart from McNulty's goals will start coming & Connolly is NOT a dud.
He has the misfortune to be our boo boy just now, we always need to have a boo boy.

Makes a change from big Tony though eh...

Personally I am not a fan. I don't know what it is like playing with him of course, but he seems to spend a hell of a lot of time screaming at those around him when things go wrong, particularly when to me it looks like he is at fault.

But perhaps he is a more positive influence on his teammates than he looks.

Agree with this. He has a massive mistake in near every game and the screaming and shouting does more harm than good. Hopefully Edwards is fine for the derby. Huge upgrade.

It's not where you're from it's where you're at.

Connolly...
Cost us points last season, hope he disnae cost points this season.
The screaming and bawling, not only does it do his teamates no good but it encouarages the opposition.
Don't know why Tam never put Reynolds on.
