On the back of yesterday's announcement that EDEN MILL are to be our main shirt sponsor for two years the SPFL has announced toay that CINCH is sponsoring the League & its 4 divisions for five years which is a long time. Previously the Clydesdale Bank & Ladbrokes spent £2m/year for two-year deals. With Cinch being a 5-year deal might this be at £1m per year making it the largest deal yet?
What I was saying is the SFA is proud of the new deal being the biggest ever but in essence it is because of its 5-year term, 5 years @ £1 miilion/year = £5 million. Previous biggest was Clydesdale Bank & Ladbrokes who both had 2-year terms @ £2 million/year = £4 million. Still sounds like a lot of money but a drop in the bucket compared to what the EPL rakes in. With the new sponsorship contract being a 5 year term we will at least get used to it being called the CINCH SPFL.

So league sponsorship has dropped 50% per year?
