Right as soon of you may know im involved in the fan displays that have appeared over the past couple of years.. Card displays flags streamers...
We have worked well with Utd to do these and they give us there fulll support and are open to listen to ideas of any sort to help with what the fans want to happen on matchdays.. We know that fan displays are not everyones cup of tea but thats life.
If anyone has any ideas for us then can you please post or pm them on here.. Also if any fundraising ideas also we will proberly be holding another race night february time.
Thanks to all for there support in helping out so far.

The card displays aesthetically look great but i just wonder if they take away fae the noise of our support when the players are entering the field.
I thought the atmosphere on saturday was electric and the tangerine and white till rolls and the big flags etc reminded me of the atmosphere you used to get in the 80's early 90's.
That is the way to go for me,just my tuppence worth.
I will try and think of some fundraising ideas mate and post them in here at a later date.

The displays have been superb, the cup final one was awesome - probably the best bit of the day!
The ticker tape is equally effective, it would be good to see more of it, especially on big away days/cup ties etc. Could change it around - display one game, ticker tape etc the next?

Id agree about it dilating the atmosphere at the cup derby game i thought when the cards went up the whole et lower just silenced which i didnt like.
The cup final display took a hell of a lot of time to do and we would never better that i doubt..
Id agree about sat the big flag and the streamers worked great but the sad thing is that alot of people get too carried away and throw them about the streets and towards the pitch far to early that was 900 we bought and handed out to Federation supporter club busses.
We had looked into getting small hand waving flags for the 1st jan derby but the problem with them is majority would take them away with them and we would be left to fork out for more of them for future.
all ideas are welcome

I think the card displays look great, and I really appreciate the effort that goes in to them but also agree it dilutes the atmosphere a bit.
Maybe keep displays for sell out (or close to) live TV games at home and other big crowd away days use the Motherwell game approach?
A place for both, but not too often?
Offline
We cant them at home too often due the ground not being full that is why they have only been done at home 3 times twice against dundee once aberdeen. Dont think anything will be done for aberdeen semi as imagine big gaps in our end..

just want to say thank you Bowers to you and your team for your displays. Really appreciate the time and effort that has been put into them.

Cheers sieb..
Alot o thanks goes to the people who have bought items off us, bought teams of a football card, personal donations and those who attended our race night.
Also the amount of people over 50 that turned up at parkhead the day before the final to help set up the display from 8am.
With out this also they wouldnt be possible.

While I huv to admit I'm pished ATM, I do genuinely think that's a good idea. Be even better if we could drown out their Hail Hail and all their other shite, every time we hear it, with 18,000 kazoo's or something.

That would be epic. Maybe throw in a wee bit of white as well to throw a punch.

Or the cheaper display of one shoe or even one sock depending on the temperature

Yeah there will be something talking with security at utd and hampden past few days.
Doesnt help with a design the way our allocation is and the sections at hampden tbh so gonna be an issue..
Till rolls would be good but the orange r dear as fuck and also trying to get everyone to throw at same time is torcher lol.
hand flags... thats something we have spoke about a few times and have talked with utd about for home games.. again for these its a fair price.. we looked at getting these for whole lower east stand for the NY day derby.
will let yi know how plans go
