The Bus...
A story of the 1990/91 season travelling with a newly formed supporters club, The Falkirk Arabs.
A recollection of every game, but a very detailed account of the fans that made following United all the more worthwhile.
Regardless of time moving-on, people losing touch with each other, these memories are unforgettable - and need to be shared.
What I am having problems with just now is finding a suitable publisher, and also to find out what interest there is?
There was never a week that went past that this bus wasn't in uproar. Yes, alcohol played its part - but it needed a full squad of rebels with an almichty cause to put it all together!

No trying to piss on your parade, but suspect it will be a 'had to be there' type issue with this. A season where we failed to qualify for Europe and lost a winnable cup final to Motherwell isn't high on the list of memorable seasons.

Sorry for being such a poor supporter...you're obviously one of the glory hunters! 😂
(But thanks for the comment, at least it was constructive in a way! I always knew i should have followed the big team 😂)

I thought this was marketing! The book is finished, I was hoping somebody would direct me onto the right path.
May have to rethink it. So wanted to kick-off this year with something positive.

As I said, no trying to piss on your parade, just think you've got a hard sell there. The cup final was a great day out for me but that was the highlight of the season. I've no doubt your bus was a cracking laugh. I always enjoyed the crack on a supporter's bus, but I'm no sure that would translate well into prose. As I said it is likely to fall into the 'had to be there' category.
That said, why not try to rebut my assumption and post an extract on here and folk can see for themselves. If it gets the thumbs up then great. if no, back to the drawing board. Worth a try?
