    Scotland World Cup Qualifying campaign

    Starts on Thursday at home to Austria in an empty Hampden.

    The Austrian's have some cracking players in their ranks who all ply their trade in the German Bundesliga.

    David Alaba (Bayern Munich)
    Julian Baumgartlinger (Bayer Leverkusen)
    Aleksander Dragovic (Bayer Leverkusen)
    Marcel Sabitzer (RB Leipzig)

    To name a few. Happily for Scotland, Bayern have blocked Alaba from entering the UK due to the 14 day quarantine rule. Meaning he will miss next Thursday's match.

    Austria will of course take part in this Summer's Euro's alongside Scotland. So this will be a tough opening fixture where any win will do.
