Mochrie

Been back at the club for 2 months now ? Never got a sniff, sometimes not even on the bench cant understand it.

Would love to know what Mellon's problem with him is ? Now with the lower leagues coming back he will probably be put out on loan again but I'm really disappointed to not have seen any of him. Not as if he was world beaters in front of him.

Re: Mochrie

I think I read somewhere MM said he was injured.

Re: Mochrie

He's 17 so thats probs why. We've had games since he returned that were very much make or break in terms of avoiding a relegation battle. I'd love to see him play but I understand why he hasnt been involved. His time will come.

Correct LEK.

In a month's time he'll be able to vote, open a bank account, buy fireworks & get a tattoo.

And maybe even have us in the top six

So meanwhile please chill on the Mochrie Fever.
If he doesn't score two goals & provide 3 assists on his full debut I can see him getting a few meh's on here.

Btw what a mentor he's had at Montrose in the shape of Sir Sean. It doesn't get any better.

Re: Mochrie

I'd just keep him for the bottom six fixtures.

He'd learn more playing in 3 or 4 of them than he would playing 7 or 8 times for Montrose.

Would also give the fans a reason to tune into what will likely be pretty meaningless games for us played in empty stadiums.

Let us see the kids get a run out (once we're safe).

Re: Mochrie

Think we'll see that once we're statisically concrete in top ten Micky will be giving Mochrie, Neilson, Chalmers etc + with luck even Glass more of a run. Particularly as McNulty's loan term finishes.
Re Sir Sean, manager in waiting, just a matter of when. Meantime interviews always good crack.

Re: Mochrie

I cant see Micky not playing his strongest team unless our final league placing is confirmed. The difference betwee. 7th and 8th in terms or prize money will be a decent amount you'd imagine.

Re: Mochrie

Makes sense I suppose. Could get up to 11+ games for them depending on how the season goes. Currently in a play-off place too so could end up being 15ish games if they do well. Will get so much more from that than a couple of cameo apps for us. He seemed to be really progressing with them before it was shut down so hopefully we get back a kid that can challenge a bit more next season as he turns 18. I'd send Neilson out too this time around if possible.

Agreed. Neilson needs to learn how to defend. Hopefully Fotheringham goes too

Re: Mochrie

Neilson and Fortheringham away to Falkirk together. Good move for both. Hopefully get a dozen or so games under their belts.

Re: Mochrie

Ridiculous we are helping Falkirk after their bullshit attitude and statement aimed at us in the Summer.

Fuck them.
