Wato Kuate

Going on trial at QPR this week. Always thought he had something about him.

Re: Wato Kuate

Never understood folk putting them in their worst ever XI’s, boy was an absolute fruit loop, but he sparked a bit of life into a team that was flailing towards the playoffs that year.

Folk only mind his antics in his last game, but he defo showed flashes of quality prior to that, lot of chunts on here were raving about him up until probably the second leg against Falkirk.

Re: Wato Kuate

I thought he was a very good player, but clearly not all there in the head. Maybe the boy got the help he needed in the end.

Good luck to him IMO. Least he wanted to win.

Re: Wato Kuate

Watched him vs accies in the play off home leg, he was completely clueless, all over the shop in center midfield.

Correct - however, was slower than John daily and in that play was getting caught in possession the whole game

If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.

Re: Wato Kuate

After the Hamilton incidents at Tannadice I was critical of Raymond for not managing the lad properly.

But I was wrong. Wato appears to have fallen out with people at every club he's been to since.

Re: Wato Kuate

technically was very good, very strong also and unbelievable confidence to back himself and command the ball. Was a million miles away from what we had at the time. He was slow though and the game he kept losing the ball was ridiculous. He got caught in possession early. so rather than learn from it, went on a one man mission to show how good he was and was determined to hang on to it to prove himself right. I remember Guy Demel doing the same against Dundee one game when Nicky Low kept harassing him.

Was an interesting player to say the least. Either 3/10 or 9/10 for the games he played.
