Brewster.
Shite manager. Played when we got relegated.
Thon goal though.

4 fantastic players (at our level),and only 10 Scottish caps between the 4 which is quite hard to understand.
Your boyhood idols are the one's you normally think of most fondly and perhaps exagerate their contribution through rose tinted specs. So with that said i vote for..
Big Dunc.

Dunc was the best player out of the 4 by miles.

big fergie for me
i never really took to brewster...only really shone for a season, always looked stiff and leggy...fucked off after 3 years because of dough, hardly the stuff of legends and was the biggest disaster as a manager ever
stuart beedie was a good player but a bit one paced...to be fair he was one of a select few to score a cup final goal...scored one of the best ever v the sheep at tynie and had the greatest pass ever at old trafford for luggy
goodie for me was a bit like brewster...was frustrating at times, then bulked up, had a great season then away he went...poor return to tanny...but like brew will always be fondly remembered
fergie...now what a fucking beast of a player..total cult hero, brilliant with Darren jackson and a total phenonoman for a while at tanny

I couldn't vote for Ferguson because of all the shite he created when we wouldn't "let him" sign for Rangers (RIP). That cunt McNee went on about it on Scotsport every fucking week. Cunt

Despite not being the fastest player in the World,Brewster had a good footballing brain and boy could he finish.
All things considered, considering we sold Big Dunc for 4 million and replaced him with Brewster for ZILCH we done no bad there. And that's putting it mildly.
Wee Jim's last bit of business as gaffer was a good'un.

F'ck me TEK group o' death right enough, a really difficult choice loved Big Dunc but as it's a 'Cult Hero' you're looking for canny see past Brewster, I've been lucky enough to see all Uniteds trophy winning days and unlucky enough to go to all the losing finals, so that day in '94 will always be special, grown men greetin on total strangers shoulders we actually won it at last, so Brewster will always be a cult hero to me.
I loved singing where's yer treble gone to Hateley et al !

A Goodie v Big Dunc square go. Oyf.

Actually i'm saying we got Brewster for free, but on 2nd thoughts did we no actually pay 200k or thereabouts for him?
Still not a bad bit of business.

Think you are right. Brewster was excellent in the cup winning season, gash in the relegation season and ok in the 1st division. Those two goals against Motherwell though were worth every penny and made up for any shite performances.
Goodie though. When he hit the cup final goal I turned round to my mates and said "What the fuck is he hitting it from there for?".
