There's a great double album, Blues Jam at Chess Vol. 1 which showcases Peter Green's fantastic ability pre drug abuses.

Fleetwood Mac were a quite different band when he wasn't there, and I never liked them thereafter. I'm also surprised Peter Green himself lived so long, given his health battles which extended beyond narcotic experiments.
