Meant to add I donated £10, a small sum equivalent to a couple of pints, to the team I love.

Over £5000 raised in less than 24 hours is absolutely fantastic. Well done Paul and Andy!
Great effort lads. No sign of the club crowd funding appeal yet so this seems the place to donate to united's legal costs. At nearly £7000 now.

Well done lads. I've stuck a tenner in.
Good that you've taken the bull by the horns on this one.

says on the funding site that its tynecastle to tannadice, so which is it? i dont mind giving money for tynecastle to tannadice but i'm not giving anything for tannadice to tynecastle.
The walk is from Tynecastle to Tannadice. They've now raised £15000.

It's been changed from Tynecastle to Tannadice for obvious reasons. Don't see what difference the direction makes to whether you donate or not. Bit of a bizarre comment.

hahahahahaha unreal thought process mate. Love it. So confused by this but still, I assume it's to do with our current Hatred of Hearts? Not sure it matters but I'm sure you'll be glad to read above that it's now Tynecastle to Tannadice.

I’m assuming that it’s changed to Tynecastle to Tannadice as the other way round it could be potential for trouble due to finishing afternoon/evening and potentially hertz supporters there.. If they leave from Tynecastle it’s likely to be very early doors so mitigating said potential.

Well done to the boys.
They've gave the club an 'out' after their embarrassing 'crowdfunder' chat in their statement.

Thanks for all the kind comments folks and apologies (Finn Dossing) for the confusing nature of what direction the walk was due to take.
Andy and myself just thought Tannadice to Tynecastle would be impressive enough for people to hopefully get behind and sponsor us but the more that this took off the more it was becoming apparent that there was potential for some trouble. No one wants that.
So, we’ll start at Tynecastle and finish at our own Theatre of Dreams. I cannae quite believe how much has been raised but it’s bloody wonderful.
There’s a bit of me that is hacked off that it will inevitably go into the pockets of some lawyers but if it means that the club themselves don’t have to take the full brunt of the Legal Bill, that will be landing on the Tannadice door mat shortly, then that to me is a worthwhile cause.
At such a difficult, and expensive, time for people the amount raised so far is truly exceptional. People are on furlough, people have been laid off, season tickets have been purchased, Title winning t-shirts and cardboard cut-out fans have also been bought but somehow a large number of Arabs have dug deep, yet again, to try their best to help out their club.
I hope that the club appreciate the generosity of the fans and I am fairly certain that they will. 🖤🧡

Maybe you should have put a wee smiley face beside it because it reads as you being a bit of a pap.
Nearly £25k raised now...great effort from everyone who's donated so far!

Paul and Andy are doing the walk tomorrow, and their fund is closing in on £40,000. Good luck to them on the 59 miles, and best wishes too to the Raith Rovers and Cove Rangers walkers, who I think are trying to coordinate their arrivals at Tannadice for around 7pm in the evening.
Interested to see our ex player Mark Perry is part of the Cove contingent.
Hope the whole day is a success and passes off well for all.

Only £390 aff £40 000 now, some going and the pair must be blown away by the support for their wee idea that hoped for a grand to be raised.
Well done to the pair O' them and all that chipped in who are not all Arabs. 🧡
